There is always a wait but it is worth it. Get there early if you want ribs.

This joint used to be my favorite when my parents were alive and lived close by. Best ribs in town and chopped sandwiches were amazing! I haven't been in a while now that we live out of town and can't seem to find an excuse to ride by that way anymore. The last time we went I think it was Monday or Tuesday, at 11:30AM, they were oddly closed. Call ahead before you go...not sure what's going on there The business still has a home in my heart and always will.
The food is delicious but the hours online are not correct. Very disappointed to go pick up food to find that they closed at 2pm not 2:30 as stated on Google and Facebook.
This is one place i will gladly drive past other BBQ places to eat!
Been there several times, but only ate once - they can’t seem to decide on a regular time to close. Today (3/2/22) their website says they close at 2:30. I drop by at 2pm and they say they just closed. When I tell them their website says they close at 2:30, they “oh well” it. Called once in the past around 1:30 and was told they’re closed. The only time I’ve been able to get a meal from them the bbq was good - hince the one gold star.Also, the two guys normally behind the counter are two of the biggest “no-go-getters” I’ve seen. Completely no initiative. They act like they wish they were somewhere else - which may explain why they’re closing time is so sporadic and unpredictable.
First time there, and was well pleased, had the rib plate good price and the meat slide right off the bone
Food is decent, drinks in the bottle are expired, mine was 3 months expired, only good reviews come from regulars with damaged taste buds
Went to met up with a buddy of mine and ended up with an order of ribs and slaw, oh holy hogs, great food..
