If you're from the Columbus area and you like pizza, then you should be familiar with Deorio's Pizza that was on Macon Road for many years... I miss that place so much! So every time I hear about a brick oven pizza place I walk in the door hoping for something that will help me fill the Deorio's shaped hole in my stomach. Well, unfortunately, this is not it. The restaurant itself was nice - very clean, open space, and pleasant atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was just OK. I know, you're may look at my picture and disregard my opinion on food because I'm one of those people who puts pineapple on pizza, but I am comparing apples to apples here because that's the way I always order my pizza no matter where I go. The crust was bland and too chewy; the sauce flavor was good and there was a good amount of sauce to crust; and the toppings were really good, and very fresh. My husband ordered a burger - he started eating too quickly for me to get a picture. It looked really good, but he said the meat tasted like a standard frozen patty and had no flavor. We also ordered the cheese sticks which were standard bar fare, and if I had to guess were also of the frozen variety. If you like pizza and are tired of the chains like Papa John's, Pizza Hut, Marco's and the others, and would like to try something different then go and try this place. Especially if you're not walking in trying to find a replacement for your all time favorite pizza that no longer exists then you'll probably like this place. I went in with high hopes and was disappointed but I think I'll go back and try one of their pasta dishes.
Food was good and it was freshly hot when Served. The Chicken Pasta was good and I asked for Cajun Seasoning since I couldn't eat the Cajun Pasta due to Shrimp being in it. They served it as requested and it was great. My family had 1/2 Pound Burger, Calzone & chicken Tenders all great. It was only 2 servers so it was a little wait but we were patient the young ladies were sweet and courteous. We will be back.
Just a nice all round place , with good food & cold BEER ??? cheers.
This place is amazing. Try the pinwheels, they are delicious. Our server took great care of us. Our food was out quickly. The pizza was one of the best we've ever tasted.....Prices were very reasonable. We will definitely visit this Pizzeria again, when we travel to Columbus..
Great pizza..horrible service ..if you have nothing better to do and don't mind sitting and sitting and waiting with out someone even taking your drink order..this is the place for you. Don't get me wrong ..pizza is goid but no worth the wait especially when the place is almost empty..
My husband and I enjoyed our experience here. The wings were so good we ordered more after the first set! The pizza was also delicious. Wish we'd taken pics, but we were too busy stuffing our faces. The staff was very warm and friendly and the music was nice. The atmosphere was just right for a laid back date night with the hubs.
I have been a “regular” at this restaurant for a while and I’ve always been happy and recommended them but their service today is what prompted me to actually post a review. Nearly every time I have been here the food has been tasty, served fresh and timely. The ONE time it wasn’t was a special situation and totally not the restaurant’s fault or anything I would hold against them. Today the power went out after we had ordered and at most restaurants I would expect them to have apologized for the inconvenience and closed down. Not Mr. Pizza. Not only did they stay open to serve their current customers, they still managed to find a way to deliver everything ordered (timely and tasty as always) and did it with a smile on their faces. I am always appreciative of their service but even more so when we were game planning for a backup to find out that they were still serving. I didn’t mind one bit eating my food by iPhone-light and enjoying the atmosphere. They managed to keep it fun and light even when it seemed like the world was ending around us. If you haven’t eaten here, please do! FYI, the closer you come to five the quicker the service is because the place can tend to fill up around 6:30.
Great food at a reasonable price
Too busy eating to take photos, but was delicious and had a pleasant server! She was awesome
I went here last night, and they were severely understaffed. However, the waitress still greeted me with a smile and treated me with patience and kindness. I know she was exhausted but I was incredibly impressed with her professionalism! The wings were amazing
