I only learned about this place a couple weeks ago but been back 3x already trying out my go-to meals at any Mexican restaurant that offer it - Birria tacos, lengua tacos, camarones a la diabla, and mole. Every meal exceeded my expectations! Other family members who prefer more standard fare thought the food great as well. I found the mole experience a pleasant surprise. It wasn’t this brownish sauce poured over chicken enchiladas that tasted like it looked. This was dark and deep and poured over whole pieces of chicken. It’s definitely worth finding this place tucked away on a back road.
I have been searching for birria tacos in Columbus for a long time and I found them. These tacos were heaven.
I just ate lunch at this restaurant this week for the first time. It is probably one of Columbus's best kept little secrets. The atmosphere was very nice and clean. The waiter was very friendly and the food was delicious. I will be back with friends.
We chose Mexigrill to cater an event recently, and that proved to be a smart decision. Everyone was very impressed with the authenticity and quality of the food, and the taquiza was prepared perfectly. Their salsas were a hit, and the guacamole was outstanding.
Food was bland not your typical authentic Mexican food. Place was clean friendly staff. Chips weren't warm and mostly crumbs. No liquor license they do have smoothies
I spent $41 here for lunch and the only thing edible was the rice. The tacos tasted sour and the barria tacos were dry & only had globs of cheese inside barely any meat, no taste at all and the consume was thick and just tasted like tomato's . I am really disappointed I wasted hard earned money ..... IT was very expensive to have to throw in the trash..... 0/10 i would not recommend this place.
My son and I tried this place for the first time in Saturday. The place is nice and clean with a friendly staff. We had a burrito and tacos which were okay at best, the salsa was good. The guacamole was probably my favorite part of the meal. The tea was probably the worse I’ve ever had. 2 sips was as much as I could stand it really was bad. It’s not a place that would be our go to place but we’ll probably go back to try a couple more of their dishes.
Had the Pastor style tacos. Pretty darn good. Not overly pineappled.Would go again to try other stuff.
The best Mexican food I've had in the 4 year's that I've been in Columbus. Service was awesome. Food fresh. Reminded me of Mexican food I had in Cali.
Not a fan of hard.. overcooked diced steak in my burrito. It was prepared well but the meat was awful. I asked if I could get a steak and chicken burrito.. and was told no. What???
