Awesome yes the food is good
I almost never write restaurant reveiws, but i met a waiter there who had to be recognized publicly. Catie Ann was her name and she was phenomenal. She catered to me. She was prompt, smart, caring and knowledgeable about the food. She had this friendly demeanor about her that made me happy. She is the best waiter I've ever had. By the way the food is great.
Best restaurant in town! Food is amazing but what makes it great is the people that work there. Catie Ann (bartender) has always been so sweet and she has come up with the best drinks for me. Especially on a particularly rough day, she knew exactly what I needed and also talked to me and made my day go from horrible to great. Everyone go see her ASAP! I recommend the Royal Creamsicle, absolutely delicious. And her own creation!!! Words can’t describe how amazing this drink was, and her company.

Lived in Columbus just over 3 years from 2015-2019 and frequented Fuji often. Came back to Columbus to visit friends and have been talking about Fuji and couldn't wait to go. Finally go to eat and our chef Axel was very unenthusiastic. Did a trick with a blind fold and moved knives around but that was it. He basically asked how we wanted our steaks (he cooked them all well done anyway) and said nothing else for the rest of the time he was there. The rice, veggies, shrimp, and lobster tail sat on the grill the entire time. Rice was crunchy and parts cold, only the veggies that were on the bottom was cooked, shrimp was over cooked, and lobster tail was rubbery. Not to mention the over cooked steak and I don't think he put a lick of salt on anything. All he used was a tub of butter that he plopped on the table at the beginning. Asked the waitress was he new and she said oh no and told her our experience. She sent the manager over who comped us $20 off a $200 plus bill. This used to be one of my favorite places but I was extremely disappointed and didn't even eat my meal.
Gentleman bartender was extremely attentive and professional, drinks were phenomenal, great menu selection!We had an unruly friend with us and the bartender handled the situation well. There was a young lady there as well, whom was friendly but not quiet sure how to handle the situation.It was a quick in and out, we will be back, minus the unruly friend to actually enjoy the menu!
You haven't had a real hibachi experience until you've been to Fuji and sat at there grill. The grill chefs are the best full of laughs and very entertaining and the food is amazing. I'm a big fan of Fuji I try to eat here everytime I get a chance. If your in Columbus Ga. you must try this restaurant...
And that rating is generous. The server was amazing. The food was horrible. They put teriyaki in everything and think it is normal I have been to several Japanese style restaurants and nothing was like what I experienced. I have been to Fuji before and it was amazing...not thus time. Didn't like the food, the server did offer to get food from the kitchen. But that is not how hibachi is. Food cam be prepared different and all together without involving the kitchen. I have been to Fuji in the past, but they have always been great. But, I do not like the way they are providing service. Being a customer for many year, I will not go back. I will find somewhere else to go! Not worth the price, when they don't want to accommodate. A manager should have at least come to talk to us, but NO nothing. Did not remove item from check. REALLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
We went here for a birthday celebration and we had a wonderful time! I believe our chef's name was Chris, and he kept us entertained and his service was exceptional! The food was delicious and they provided us with a birthday song and cupcake. I will definitely be returning.
