Country's On Board was so good! I was trying to look for somewhere good to eat by thr riverwalk that didn't break the bank for a family of four and this exceeded my expectations! All the food was so good, but my niece's tacos were the best things out of the different food we ordered! The fried pickles were good too! Such great service as well!
Tasty BBQ and great family atmosphere. We love the bus station history and we even ate in the old bus. Easy parking and worth every penny. Lovely staff.
This was one of the few places left open on a Monday evening after 8pm. After arriving in Columbus pretty late, there weren’t many options to choose from. There’s a few things about here that weren’t impressive, and the more places I explore in Columbus, the more that I like about this place.Perhaps my favorite part of here was the staff. Everyone is nice. Nobody here gives off any sense of hating their job, or being too busy to handle one of their guests. The price was surprisingly low compared to other places around here. For two entrees and an appetizer, we only spent around $30.The food wasn’t absolutely gourmet, but it definitely wasn’t bad either. I’m not sure if I’d try the sweet potato chips again, and I definitely think some of the food is made ahead and just hot held, but for the price that you pay it certainly was overall a good experience. It was a very nice down to earth experience in an area where it seems like a lot of places are catered to more “posh” individuals.
Country's on Broadway Uptown Columbus. Saturday night... All you can eat ribs at this location. Old Grayhound bus location. Kids can play on bus and honk horn. Good food, reasonable prices and great server. Not in the mood for ribs... Hamburger steak and all breast fried chicken are always satisfying. Sweet tea always on point and any meringue pies are to die for.
The food ended up being astonishing, the chicken was tender and the flavor was good. Our biggest complaint was the amount of time it took to get the food. The wait staff was courteous, I just wish the kitchen would get a bit of hustle in its britches. I was a waiter for a spell and understood the wait staff was not at fault for the delay. Also, we only saw one waitress cleaning and others standing around. Good place, just needs some tweaks.
Wow, what great dinner. Good food and the coconut cream pie...delish!
My waitress was great but the food was awful. Restaurant looks like it’s never been cleaned. I was genuinely scared to use and of the sauces on the table. The napkin dispenser had a thick layer of dust and dirt. When the food came out it was not only cold but the wings looked like it was boiled and sauced. The chili was the only thing on my plate I could manage to eat. The meat was dry and didn’t have any flavor. They were out of half the menu can’t figure out how but please save your money. They need a new cook and to be trained how to clean. We are still in a pandemic. I felt bad for the waitress so I took the rest of my food in a To-go box but threw it out at the nearest trash can.
Stop by here and grab a dessert! The banana split is exceptional and large enough for two!Not the most clean establishment, diner type, although there is outdoor seating (our preference). They also have a drive through.Foods always been great, as well as service
This is probably my fourth or fifth time eating at a Country's. This was the worst of all of them. I love this place and completely understand what happened and why pur experience wasn't what it normally was. That restaurant just got SLAMMED. They were short staffed and running pit of everything. Mad props for keeping it together and trying. We got some food, staff was polite (and apologized a lot for all the issues), and it tasted good.
Country's was recommended to us, but it was another location. We decided to try the location that is downtown in an old bus depot. It was nice to see the depot being used, but the food was horrible. I specifically requested that my fries be hot when they were brought out. I touched one when I got my plate and they were not even warm. The server did bring more fries and they were hot and good. My barbeque was cold and it was full of fat and gristle. Even my Brunswick stew was barely warm. That is almost always really hot at any restaurant. The only thing that was really good was the free cup of ice water.
