I was first introduce to Clearview BBQ in 2014. The food, delicious.The chip sandwiches were .99 cent and the service back then was hoppin.On May 21, 2022. The sandwich is now $1.49 and the service is " slow as molasses". Or slower!!!!!. It took thirty (30) minutes to receive a carry out order of two sandwiches and a Cole slaw.I left the restaurant twice and still my order wasn't ready.Clearview, Your food is delicious but stop being cheap and get another "Sandwich Press." You need two.No one should have to wait 30 minutes for a carry out.
My boyfriend and I went to Clearview for lunch May 16th. We ordered a Q-tatter chiped , 4 sandwiches and side of bbq slaw. Had I to send the Q-tatter back because the meat was chopped instead of chipped. Then the Q- tatter didn't have cheese. The sandwiches were supposed to have no slaw. Took 15 minutes to get the food. I did notice their were no cars in the parking lot maybe this is the reason why.
I forgot how much I love their bbq. My wife got us some sandwiches and a big order of chopped to bring to her parents. We had the sandwiches for lunch. It blows the bbq in Lagrange out of the water.We are been joking about being addicted to the chipped sandwiches all weekend. My wife who normally eats super slow eat both of hers on the way home.I am so glad to rediscover this lost gem.
I love Clearview for their BBQ flavor and their reasonable prices. I am disappointed that they have increased the price of their famous .99 cent chipped sandwich by almost 40% in less than 2 years. Come on now! The prices of food has not gone up "40%." Just saying. This will unfortunately drive some business elsewhere so don't go getting greedy and messing up a good thing.This is still a cash and check only establishment. Make sure you have more than $1.50 for the chipped sandwich.
Customer service is horrible. Lady that took my order was extremely rude. You’d think they would tell you over the phone that they do not accept cards only cash but nope. Thank god I read the reviews. I’ve had their BBQ before and it was good, but as I said, they should work on their customer service skills.
The food is delicious, you be get your money worth and to make your visit worth it, the customer service is excellent ??
Pretty good BBQ spot in the area. They have some good prices for some great food. Worth to stop by and pick up a sandwich or two if you haven’t tried it.
Always good here. Good BBQ and I got Chili Dogs. Spread Cole Slaw on it and WOW what a dog. Great, friendly service. Always a favorite.
Best bbq place in town! I’m 31 and I’ve been coming here ever since I can remember, feels like home! Idk if it’s the memories that make it so good but I don’t eat bbq anywhere else lol
Way ran down from what it was years ago.. but guess what.. foods still good.. not sure how it passes inspections... but idk food is good. Sweet tea is the best in town!!! I'll always use this place for get togethers and stuff prices are very reasonable but they only take cash... someone should probally put an atm in the lobby.
