Forget about the rest. And try the best.. they have been around for years.. there is a reason for that.. I got the whiting sandwich and the trout sandwich ordered a side of onion rings and a side of slaw.. the shredded lettuce was iceberg cold and the tomatoes were fresh and crunchy I should have ordered a half and half but I would do that on the next go around.. yeah I mean..
Food was so so. ALL of it should have been hot since it's cooked to order. The cashier definitely need more people skills.
Hate to call this a hole in the wall so I'll say it is a "Mom and Pop" establishment. Nothing that I had was bad. EVERYTHING was soooo good. Had the Catfish (6 piece) family Mac n Cheese, Fried Okra and Onion Rings. Everything was seasoned perfectly and fresh. I've talked it up to where this will have to be my lunch tomorrow again. Heads up, be patient because everything is cooked to order and fresh which is how it should be and was appreciated!
Yasins has been here for years. I no longer live close to this location but when I want fried fish and shrimp, I travel here. The food is cooked to order and it's always delicious. I've tried other restaurants like Yasins but none can compare. They either fry the fish to death or the seasoning is underwhelming.
Always a great flavored and cooked meal. Friendly customer service. Love them always.

Loved food and staff. Visiting here from California and basically had decided that most service people were rude! This place is NOT ONE OF THOSE! OUR order taker was patient , kind and helpful
First time here. I heard alot of great things about this place and it did not disappoint. I really enjoyed the sweet potato puffs they were very flavorful. I also has the Whiting fish sandwich on a honey wheat bun. It was the perfect combination. They have their own signature beverages that are great as well. Foos is answ fresh and service is fast.
I ordered a large shrimp salad which consisted of mainly lettuce which didn’t look fresh, about 7 small shrimp, 2 thin slices of not so fresh looking tomato, and a tiny amount of shredded carrots. Where’s the cucumbers, cheese, etc?! Salad wasn’t appetizing at all. I ate the shrimp and threw the “salad” in the trash.I also ordered fried fish w/ mac n cheese and green beans. Mac n cheese was disgusting and the green beans are straight out of a can!! The lemon pound cake is store bought. I gave a star because the bean pie was the only thing that was good! There is nothing home made about any of this food!
