I had not been to tropical cuisine in a good while. The cook definitely has changed. The food had no flavor and the Brownstew chicken was off, tasted more like chicken baked in the oven. The rice and peas was off as well, so was the cabbage. There is no Caribbean flavoring. The ox tales was not seasoned correctly. So disappointing.... I won't be back.

We went at close to closing and they still had everything avaliable. Also, the customer service was superb! Open area to wait enough seating. Food was hot and delicious. We ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta and a chicken and shrimp with tropical sauce (medium spicy).

Hands down the best, Authentic Jamaican Cuisine in Atlanta! I’ve been eating this food since the 90s. Never have I ever been disappointed! Everything is fresh and so tasty! Patties are freshly made daily (fave), the coco bread is slapping (fave) the ox tails (fave) yum yum, brown stew chicken fricassee (fave) or boneless is the bomb, the jerk chicken salad is on 1000, ( menu fave) all roti is scrumptious, blackened fish is phenomenal… ALL SIDES AND DESSERTS SLAP, (except the strawberry cake have real strawberries In the cake? Which some like, I just don’t prefer!) but nevertheless ALL CAKE AND OTHER DESSERTS ARE FRESHLY HOMEMADE!! IF YOU ARE VEGAN/VEGETARIAN this place SLAPS!! (Slaps means this food is culinary GREATNESS) I can go on and on and on… but just go grab some and see for yourself!!! The whole menu is my favorite!

De-freakin-licious! I always get a veggie plate (the black beans are so tasty), but they always have a steady flow of people who I'm sure eat more than veggies. I adore the staff, as they are always pleasant. I'm a frequent flyer as they say.

Food was very tasty, however the prices are kind of on the high side. Still over all recommend if your in the mood for a taste of the tropics.

My food was ready in 20 minutes. The woman behind the cash register and who answered the phone was of Indian descent I believe and so was the cook. Somewhere along the lines this restaurant was bought out or they shifted the menu from 10 years ago. Now my jerk chicken boneless was delicious, rice in gravery delicious, I love spices but this is more Indian food than Jamaican. Food is good but not Jamaican geared.

I always have the oxtails but they must have changed cooks because today they were the worst oxtail l ever had taught and extremely bland with no flavor and watery gravy. Tropical cuisine this is unacceptable as expensive as oxtails are u should continue to take pride in making sure your number one selling dish is on point. I'm very disappointed now I have to find a new place to get my oxtail smh

I always get the jerk chicken wrap & the past two times I’ve came, my jerk chicken has been saltier. Less sweet & spicy like it usually is. This time the chicken was a bit dry. On the other hand, my man gets the oxtails every time it’s delicious.

This might aa well be an indian spot, it is NOT authentic caribbean.Ordered jerk chicken but the taste is different and smells kinda off ? (no shade/disrespect)Even the coco bread tasted different. If I come here again it's for the patties??‍♂️I regret coming here.

My order was oxtail with yellow rice and a side of collard greens, cake (carrot cake),regular beef pattie. the beef pattie was fresh and lil mild (good) will buy again as for the oxtail the seasoning was good on it I've had better but will try again later and as for the greens no thanks don't like it
