My colleague and I were in Atlanta on biz trip and had checked into an airport hotel, so we looked for a place nearby. It was a Tuesday evening around 8 PM. We decided to come to the Madhouse as it was advertised as a sports bar. There were several outdoor tables with water pipe smokers and the inside had a full bar and food menu. We used our smartphones to download the menus and gave our order to the nice young lady who was the also the front hostess. (forgot her name but she was originally from update NY). The tables were arranged in such a way which made it difficult to see the TVs. When the food arrived, we were shocked and delighted with how good it was! This is NOT your typical bar food! This is regional gourmet, reasonably priced. We had shrimp po boy (better than Louisiana....), fish tacos, and grits with shrimp. The food was freshly made and was generous with the protein and had just the right amount of greens. The grits and shrimp dish was especially enjoyable as it was one of the best things we had during our entire biz trip. The only reason we are not giving it a full 5 stars is because the music was way too loud and deafening to the point where we could not hear each other talk. If they turned down the volume, it would have been much more enjoyable for us, a couple of middle aged biz travelers from out of town. But thank you and we will be back whenever we are in the Atlanta airport area.
We loved the vibes and the (daytime)servers were definitely friendly. I had the Trashcan and I loved it. I also had the steak meal it was delicious. So we went here again at night the servers (well the one we had) are not friendly, they take forever to come back to take your order, the food (I had nachos like how can you mess up nachos ?) wasn't good and the Trashcan wasn't good either... Let's just say we will NEVER come at night again.
This place is definitely worth a visit. Great personality from the staff, cool music vibe, amazing food. All 3 of us had the breakfast burger and it was packed with flavor! Our server was so wonderful and conversational, plus the DJ personally came to our table to check the vibe so he knew what to play. Great experience!
This place has good potential. But calling yourselves “sportsbar and grill” I’m thinking I can bring my family an have dinner. It’s the absolute opposite. They are operating like a club one Friday and Saturday and charging a $20 per person cover charge to enter. Why should I pay to come inside to have dinner? Are you a sportsbar or a lounge/ club. Will be going to city hall to make an official complaint
An amazing, welcoming cool spot! Good music, good drinks and the customer service was great, from sitting at the bar, to the table, to our hookah girl. Dorothy, our waiter was great.
I loved everything about this place. The food was amazing and it was just a shrimp poboy and fries. It has a great atmosphere all around feel Great music, drinks, and hookah. Stop by if ever you are in Atlanta. I plan on going back when I visit again.
I had a blast nice people. Good food...pretty bartender....Great DJ....GooD vibe.....I will be coming back....
Very fun place. The waitress was lively and fun. The Dj had my head bopping to every other song
