The owner is rude. I have eaten JR Crickets since a child. Today, I decided to try the buffaloed shrimp at this location but it wasn’t good. The breading was falling off and it wasn’t hot. I was prepared to order wings per usual AND PAY but decided not to order anything at all after being told by the OWNER “I don’t want to bring something else out and you don’t like that either.” Not to mention the store is nasty, tables and chairs are sticky, his shirt/ uniform was dirty, soft drinks are flat, and the restroom has been out of order. Also, those who ordered drinks was told there are only 3 glasses available and they have to rewash the same 3 glasses for mixed drink orders. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Nice set up with pretty decor. However the service is trash. The lead bartender is the rudest Iv ever encountered. I requested another bartender; 20 minutes later, I’m still waiting to order. I asked for the manager but was told he’s at the store. It’s 10:48 pm, but ok. I love supporting local businesses and I’m a generous tipper but my first experience was horrible. On another note, the DJ was really good.
I've been to my share of jR Crickets but this place is different! It has a lively vibe. The wings are cooked how WE like them. The bartenders look out for and assist each other. I was there for a birthday celebration but I'll be back. Just for the vibe. the wings. and the beer! #blackexcellence
We got the lemon pepper wet wings with the shrimp, and onion rings. Super small wings... Like really small. The wings were not sauced well so they were pretty dry except on the bottom. They were below below average wings. The shrimp and onion rings were alright.. nothing special.
In my grandma's voice: If you don’t have anything nice to say, Don't say nothing at all. J R Crickets on Main, y'all know what kind of establishment y'all are. These comments are only surprising to consumers, not to the owners or employees. Stop playing games?Learn Better so you can Do Better....???
Steve was our waiter and did a PHENOMENAL JOB. He catered to our every need. This is our first time here and I felt like I was on cloud 9 beacuse this food was so amazing!!! I recommend everything! I cant say enough great things. 5 stars hands down.

I assume of course b/c off Covid it was a little while to get a table! But Steve the bartender was AMAZING!! Food good, drinks awesome!! Music got okay after 7 7:40pm....Go tell Steve todo his thang...Lol??
The chicken is severely undercooked they will give you incomplete pieces. See picture.
I would not recommend this location in College Park. I asked for a Modelo beer and ordered 20 wings. After waiting 20 minutes without my beer the waitress come back after 20 minutes and tell me that they do not have Modelo. I don’t believe that they had me wait over 20 minutes and just now telling me that they are out of Modelo which is my favorite beer. Also the wait time for wings is longer than expected. I am going to midtown location I hope that I get a better experience at that location.
