These people need to work on there people skills and overall customer service. They seem to hate when you ask for something above or outside the normal, such as extra gravy over the rice or asking for less rice/more cabbage. They also don't participate in the rewards program, even though they have signs and an electronic display advertising it to draw more customers in.
Great amount of food for the price. Although the food wasn't as hot as I'd prefer, it was still okay. My husband got the curry chicken lunch special and he said it was flavored well but the chicken was very dry. I got the jerk chicken lunch special with oxtail sauce on my peas and rice and it was very nice. The macaroni was a bit dry as well.
Must get here early if you want Jerk chicken!! Sells out fast. Favorite spot, customer service is good. Food is even better. Lines move fast. Take note ask for extra jerk sauce n oxtail gravy for your rice n peas!
I ordered two dinners and I didn't see until I was home that they forgot the plantains for both. The price is already on the higher side PLUS they charge you for using a credit/debit card. I tried calling twice but no answer. To top it off, the fish I ordered was salty! The food quality has unfortunately been dewindling for some time now. Time to find another Jamaican restaurant....
First time ordering and eating here….I won’t be back. I ordered curry chicken with peas and rice and macaroni and cheese. But I got the cabbage instead of macaroni and cheese. I had more cabbage than anything on my plate. My order was completely wrong. I tried calling several times but no answer. I wasted my money. Such a disappointment!
Golden Krust (OLD NATIONAL HWY location only!) has the very best oxtails hands down anywhere in the 19-county metropolitan Atlanta area! I have been coming here for several years now and not once have I ever been disappointed by their food! I always get oxtails every time, and sometimes I also get an additional plate of snapper escoevitch or stew chicken, several pieces of cake, some juices. The oxtails are always exceptional, extremely tender and very well seasoned beyond perfection! No other Golden Krust’s oxtails are this tender nor is their oxtail sauce anywhere near as good as this old national location. And the plate I just got today (2/20/2022)? I’m almost tempted to go buy a second plate of it before I pull off from the parking lot. I drive an hour away to come to this location for these oxtails! The employees are always pleasant, helpful, no bad attitudes, and they never ignore my request to put more and more sauce all over my plate. I greatly appreciate it. I made the mistake of going to a few other golden krust locations (like the one in Morrow on Mt Zion) and yuck! Kudos and all the praises in the world to the staff and consistency at this Old National Hwy Golden Krust location. Their recipes are top notch Caribbean fire, and restaurant is immaculate, always looks clean and sanitary.
Customer service was excellent and the food was even better! Definitely recommend... even though this is a chain'this is the best location with fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly and nice portions!
Food good but I have 3 star because the attitude of the staff wow me and my cousins drove a hour just to get food horrible service but food good hope the understand service is everything when someone never been to your spot my cousin say even of the food good I never returned
