The burgers were so scarce that we couldn't see anything but lettuce and tomatoes on the hamburger even after it was taken apart.We requested a refund

I suppose this also explains why, between myself and the server, I was the only one of us who could remember long enough ago to know what I actually ordered.
Aaliyah had great customer service! She was so pleasant. It is nice to be able to sit down to eat and have great customer service also.
This was my first experience with a Steak 'n Shake that did not have servers to take you order and bring your food. I must say it worked very well. The order taker was friendly and took care of things very competently. Shortly, my number was called, and I went to the other counter to pick up my food. The employee who had brought from the kitchen looked hot, but she smiled at me with one the best "I'm glad to see smiles" I've seen in a long time. The food was excellent just what I've come to expect any time I go to a Steak 'n Shake. It made for a very nice lunch experience.
I go here just about every saturday and sunday seems like.. the $4 meals cant be beat.. get that #7 and you'll see what i'm tombout. food is always fresh and the lettuce and tomatoes always fresh.. ion like that soggy stuff.. now if they had mcdonalds fries they'll be at the top.. the staff is friendly and the customer service is good!! some times they get busy on the weekend during peak times, but it's worth the wait!!
I have been nere about 6 times & never haf a problem. It took 2 tries to get burger the way I ordered it & the burger was still wrong. I had already waited 20 minutes & didn't want wait bc I was traveling. Fries so salty I could barely eat the few I did. Won't stop here anytime soon.
Slow service for inside customers. Burger was not good. Drive thru customers were getting beyond quick service. If you can't do both close the indoor seating. Waited 45 mins for a burger
While the food was good, tasty, it was a little overly seasoned. I have the seasoning with the garlic. And the person who took my payment did not offer me a receipt I had to ask for it and it wasn't a credit card receipt it was the order receipt. Will I go back? Yes.
I pulled up to the drive thru to place my order and sat there for at least a minute without being acknowledged. (I didn't mind waiting but at least say something) once I placed my order and pulled around to the window a young lady was at the window with a small cup. I jokingly asked if that was the size drink that I was getting, I expected a larger size. She looked at me and never said a word. She handed me the drink and cup of ice and followed with a tiny brown bag. Not even the size of a lunch bag..I asked for ketchup she just pushed the bag into my hand and shut the window. I looked at the bag for the steak and shake logo but there was none.I took a bite out of my burger and thought I'd bitten into the parchment paper. The was something about the bun that was paper like in texture. I looked again thinking something wasn't right. I was heading home to Tennessee from GA and was very hungry. The food is amazing but I am so tired of spending $30-$40 and my money being taken. Why would you not put bacon on a bacon cheeseburger? Why would you give me a small drink when I ordered and paid for a large? Why are you leaving the kids meals out? Take the order correctly and give us what we paid for. I hate coming here now but my kids insist then I have to listen to crying when we get home because their food isn’t there and I then have to give them my food and fix myself a sandwich after I pay $40 for food. How is our order wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME? Jesus.
