Awesome job. Server was decent. Food was nicely done. Price was reasonable. It was very busy and they kept up great thanks to a fantastic kitchen crew! They were rockin it!Incredible hustle and attentive service all the while filling the buffet with tons of food! No shortage of bacon either. Great job ladies!
The last of a great dine in food chain. The place was a little run down, nowhere near the way Piccadilly in Marietta was but could use some updating. We got there and the place was virtually empty but as we sat there more and more people started coming in. We both opted for the buffet seeing as it was only a $1more than what we were going to order, it was good, I had the fish and it was really good and had a piece of fried chicken and it was also good. I did try the Salisbury Steak it was ok. They had green beans, mac n cheese, mash potatoes and brown gravy, corn on the cob, turnips greens, sweet potatoes and so much more. With everything they had if they added fried green tomatoes to the lot they would have had all the making for a down home southern meal. Our server was awesome and made sure we had everything we needed and kept our glasses full, at the end of my meal I asked for just a half a glass of tea and for the first time in my life that is what I got, a half a glass. She was a rockstar!! Give this old relic a try!!!
Stopped in with my wife for dinner, our first time visiting a Shoney's. We were pleasantly surprised. I had the buffet and my wife had a fried shrimp dinner. Food was pretty good for a buffet. Portion size for the shrimp dinner was great and the shrimp was good.The real stars here are the employees. Such nice, attentive and welcoming people. We'll definitely stop back in, thank you for such a pleasant dining experience.
Great all you can eat breakfast. Good service (except the older lady who was seating people... she just looked grumpy and unhappy to be there). Restaurant was clean. Drinks refilled quickly.
They were short staffed on the day we visited but in all the food was hot and delicious with plenty of variety of breakfast items on the bar. Fresh fruit, bacon, eggs, sausage, everything that you want to eat and even fresh little powered donuts to top off a filling breakfast. Restrooms were clean.
Buffet was great. Everything was fresh and they kept everything filled. My waitress was friendly and did a good job. Will visit again if in the area.
Visited the establishment on yesterday and was very dissatisfied with the food quality there. They only had two meat options and popcorn shrimp. The sides were also very limited and every dish I tries was very bland. No way I ever pay almost 12 bucks for this buffet again. And it also seemed as though the restaurant was separated by skin Color. I observed a gentleman that after me get seated...they attempted to sit him in the area which was consistent with with his skin Color but he preferred to be seated on the opposite side.
Traveling back home from Florida yesterday. Was coming through cartersville decided to stop in and try out the shoneys. The food was awesome the service was great. All but one person the manger named Barbara was horrible her attitude was the worst and she even lied to us saying there wasn’t a menu we had to eat off the bar. after all there was menu for the kitchen. Not only was she rude to us but to just about ever body with a question to ask her was rude I just don’t think I will ever walk back in the door as long as she is there I will remember that face. They better demote her to the kitchen r to a customer before she runs off all the customers
I drive an hour just to go have their breakfast bar. It is the closest Shoney's to us. We go every couple of weeks. Love the drive love the food love the alone time with my husband.
Make sure if your having dinner you come after 5:00. The buffet looked kinda of rough just before that. Typical Shoneys the chicken club was pretty good as well as the fries. Service was good as well.
