Nice visit. Had the fried shrimp po-boy with onion straws. Others had burger, tuna, etc. Everyone seemed to enjoy.
Went once before and the food was just okay. Then we went again to give it a second try and we waited 45 minutes before we left because we were never approached to order. This place has awful service and is very overrated especially for the prices they charge. Don’t waste your time going here.
Want to start with that we have been here a few times before and we have had good food and experiences in the past.Tonight we decided to have dinner here. We got to the restaurant around 8 pm. It was not busy by no mean. Just a few tables and three waitresses. We were able to order our food fairly quick, but we had to wait around 45 minutes for our food. All of the other tables had already gotten their food. While we waited we were never offered refills on our drink, because two of the waitresses were to busy talking to people outside the whole time. When we received our food the waitresses asked us how we were doing. I said fine, but we did have to wait a very long timeThe waitresses responsed with well guess that the price you pay for good food.We asked for one burger to be well done, but it was still pink in the middle. We did not asked this to be fixed , because at this point we were very hungry. We are very disappointed in the service tonight and will most likely not be returning.
We very much want to like this place. It has a neighborhood vibe that is very cool and unique. The outdoor seating area is very welcoming with an interesting tree/vines that overhang the patio. Unfortunately, we have yet to be pleased with the service. Very inattentive and often seem annoyed. The food was also disappointing.....chicken salad was dry, flavorless and seemed homogeneous like it had been run through a blender. Portion of pot.chips was underwhelming. The patty melt was decent. Sweet potato fries were cold/soggy. Sweet potato was supposed to come with honey or brown sugar and they forgot. $7 side salad was comically small. At this point we were over it. We were hoping to have a better experience this go around but instead I think we won't be back. Not trying to be malacious.....it was just our experience.
Lovely small bar and grill. Sunday brunch is very busy. Food is a nice mix of breakfast and lunch on Sunday. Hats off to the chef. Food was spot on! Sat outside with very nice server. Unfortunately we never got her name. Tall with long beautiful blonde curly hair. She was on top of her game. Unfortunately only one server outside so patience is a must at the peak time of day. She even had kind words to back up another server inside who was quite rude when I walked in to get a couple of crackers. As she stood behind the bar and I kindly said excuse me, she turned her head flinging her brown ponytail and said...what do you need them for?! Kudos to you lovely blonde server for your amazing professional customer service! Oh do not let me forget to mention the lovely food runner who even took the time to ask if we needed anything else. I'll return as I always do from time to time. Cheers!
We loved this place. Had a little bit of everything, from sandwiches to fancier fare, and a great outdoor seating area. Not pretentious, food was good and service was friendly. It feels exactly how a neighborhood restaurant should feel. Highest recommendation for the burgers, which were incredible. Not far at all off Main Street and worth the very small detour to get there.
Took a really long time to get a server to take drink orders. We really expected a good experience with the amount of good reviews. Most of the food lacks any flavor. The worst part is the waiting. We will have wait before giving them another try.
Really attentive waitress. Food was prompt and yummy. The drinks were well made. Really great outdoor patio too. No complaints here.
We were looking for a different location for our Sunday lunch. We had not been to Moore's for at least 4 years and were not sure how our picky friend would rate this but it was worth a try. It was a sunny day and I had thought an outside table would be nice but they were all filled. This turned out to be a good thing as the wind was still cool. They had added more tables inside since our last visit and we had a choice of tables. One of the wait staff had cautioned us that it might be a 15 min wait before we would be served. Since time was not of an essences, we chose a table and looked at the daily menu board. It wasn't long before a server brought menus and took our drink orders. The wait came, waiting for her to come and take our orders. The was a broad choice including brunch items on Sat. and Sunday. Our friend and I chose the grilled pork chop and hubby took a ham and cheese sandwhich. The pork chop came with 2 sides - I had mac&cheese and a pasta salad. Our friend chose red mashed potatoes and grilled squash. Our meal came and we pointed out that we had no silverware which caused the server to leave in a huff. Other than the server who seemed to be having a bad day, our meal was wonderful! The pork chops came with a bread choice and we both chose the sweet potato biscuit which was more like a scone. It had a slight cinnamon taste and was just straight out delicious. The pork chop was cooked to perfection. It had grill marks and seasoned well. It was tender and juicy. The sides were very tasstey too. It was a meal that we just didn't want to end. Hopefully the quality continues when we visit in the future.
