Waited in the drive through for over 10 minutes with no response. Sent my husband inside and he said they didn't acknowledge him, they were arguing with each other, and one employee even threw food at another one. He did eventually get our food, and when we took it home it was completely wrong. And on top of that, we received a cup full of greasy breading bits?? Like someone had scraped the grill, put it in a cup, and gave it to us. Insane experience, honestly.
Men bathroom wasn't clean, dining area needed to be wiped clean and everything else and someone told me the women's bathroom is dirty. Not every clean in my opinion just stating. Have to be honest
The food was excellent the condition of the dining room need some money spent on it. It looked like it had not been painted in a very long time and the ceiling was disgusting. The one gentleman that asctually gave me any service was while he was in the dining room and he was passing out napkins. That was the extint of service other than taking my money and handing me my food. One couple tried over and over to get ice for their drinks and was unable because the machin gave no indication as to how to dispense ice. They had to go to the front counter snd stand in line again for the damn ice...It was Monday the 4th pof April about 5 pm and there was three couples and myself so they were not covered up...
Had to wait then they brought out the wrong order, finally got our food, cheese sticks were barely warm but they were the best part of the meal. Corn on the cob was so ? you couldn't touch it, no baked potatoes, the 11 small fries were hard and cold, fish was tasteless. I had asked to substitute a roll in place of the hush puppies--they were okay but not what I wanted. The sweet tea was good.
Just order a fish and shrimp meal. Shorted one piece of fish and two shrimp. What I did get was cooked 30 minutes earlier is tasted like. Set at the menu for 5 minutes before the order was taken. If you don't take your job seriously just move on. Don't go to Captain D"s after dinner the staff checks out. May 22, 2022Owner: I contacted you contacted at Captainds.com haven't heard back. I assume the problem with your company starts from the top down. How many people do short at the drive thru? Doesn't seem it would be worth it. People have have a lot of choices.
The 5 stars is for 1 employee. If you don't go when she's there you don't get what you ordered. I forgot her name, starts with a T I think, she's tall. I come through once a week. Today she wasn't there, I ordered a chicken & fish meal and received a 4 piece chicken. They were out of honey mustard so I was given tartar sauce, sweet & sour & vinegar. I would have ordered something else had I been made aware.
This is what you get for $6.94 the double dozen shrimp and fish smh the pandemic has given restaurants to not give quality food or good customer service
This location had been my go too seafood place for 21 years. Not anymore. I always got the10 PC meal with sides. Always. I started getting the baked potatoes and cole slaw cause the fries were getting greasy. Last time the meal had 3 potatoes and was good. Saturday I got the same meal and was told it comes with 4 potatoes. That's OK. When I got home, the potatoes were brown and hard. They looked terrible, and my wife tried to eat one. It was inedible. We ate the rest of the meal. I returned next day, and the manager yelled at me for not bringing back when they were bad. Then stormed away. People started coming in and waiting behind me. The counter person had to go ask if she could return my $2.78. She did, and you lost this customer.
Very disappointed in Capt. D's .. we been a customer for many years but may not go backCorn on the cob was disgusting..( I returned it) barely warm....brown kernels, looked like it had been soaked in water for days.The "buttery" spread won't even melt on it ! ( This has happened at more than one location).French fries were half cooked, mushy inside .Baked potato was hard inside and hardly warm at all ...same situation regarding the butter flavoured spread not able to melt.Terrible dinner experience !?
If you like sweet tea this is the place to get it by the gallon. It is always fresh and stays good until the gallon is empty
