Great country breakfast.brings back memories of childhood growing up in small town.has a hometown diner feel,staff was very friendly
Wife and I came in Tuesday May 17th 2022 around 8:30am for breakfast. We have been here a couple times and the food is pretty good.I have had the basic breakfast with eggs over medium, bacon, grit and biscuit. I also had the same breakfast another time with sausage. Both were cheap and good. 2 small issues I had the last time we were there: the sausage was very dry and the grits were like soup. I don't understand why people can't make fluffy/thick grits (this is Georgia!). Otherwise the food was good. They made fresh coffee which was excellent.My wife had the steak biscuit once and grits the next time; she liked the steak biscuit but couldn't eat the grits.Food is of good quantity for the price and the staff is always friendly and professional.I'd give a 5 star but the grits have got to be better otherwise I'll have to go to the other diner on the square for my breakfast.

The best greasy spoon in town! Try the patty melt or BLT! My faves!!

The breakfast is good. I haven't had lunch here yet but will edit when I do. Biscuits are the way to go here. Unfortunately the staff is not very friendly, that has been my experience in the morning.
Passed thus restaurant a thousand times abd jyst recently tried it out. I was pleased with the menu, couldn't make up my mind if 8 wanted breakfast ir lunch. I chose. But then I hag a hard time selecting from the giant burger or the BLT. I chose the burger and fries as nd was not disappointed.My wife had the same difficulty.
I have been to this hometown favorite many times. The food is always excellent and the service with a smile. My only complaint is they are not open for dinner. Highly recommend this restaurant.
My son loves this place. He comes from Acworth just to have breakfast. It is just like home made and prices are reasonable.
Usually really good cooked to order hot fresh food. This time not sure what happened. Looked like three people may sitting at the bar already eating, not crowded. I went to the drive through. Fries were hot and fresh, but the burger which is usually great was pretty rough this time. It was pressed so hard that it was thin as maybe a couple pieces of thin cardboard. And burnt in a few places as well. The food here is normally really good but not so much on this visit. Maybe they were just having a bad day.
