This was the best eating experience we've had in a LONG time. Thanks to Sonia, our waitress and Allen, the new manager. If I could give this establishment 5,000 stars i would. Definitely will be coming back for this staff. Not to mention, the greeter was a really cool guy as well. All in all, super amazing staff.The food not to mention was amazing and got it in seconds. All of our food, 2 entrès, 2 drinks, dessert, and alchohol was on our table in no more than 10 minutes. Will encourage everyone we know to come back.
We love this place! It’s the only restaurant you’ll find open on a late night, after working long hours and you don’t feel like cooking.. we eat here about once a week, not gonna lie! The staff is always friendly and quick to take our order. Ethan is one of the best waiters we’ve ever had, he will definitely take care of you! The food has always been good, they are short staffed but so is every other place right now. We appreciate all their effort!!
My family and I arrived before a small rush, yet every other table had their orders taken while we were left overlooked and ignored. After waiting for any waitresses to come back on the floor after delivering the other table orders to the kitchen, we got up and left. No one spoke or said a word to us, except for the young man who greeted and seated us. We spent 20 minutes without any drink or food when we were ready to order in less than 5. No acknowledgement from the wait staff at all. Went to a different restaurant and we were immediately seated, orders taken, and drinks delivered, within 5 minutes of arriving. After receiving such terrible service at this Applebee's, we won't be coming back.
Kind staff member, very attentive. Broccoli was delicious! Steak was pretty good. It was more like medium to medium well and i ordered medium rare. The wait for food was not that long.
The hostess said it would be a 15 minute wait even though it was half empty, "Because they just seated a large party." So we sat at the bar. The bartender was fine, food came out in a reasonable time and the Cajun chicken and shrimp was pretty good. Just that there were 6 to 10 people waiting to be seated the whole time we were there.
If only i could give a negative 30, i would. They put you on a false wait, then you sit at a table that has already been cleaned for 10 minutes, you wait 10 minutes to be greeted. I ordered my sons chicken quesadilla when we ordered our drinks, that took 15 minutes to get out to us and the kitchen put Pico and some sauce in a KIDS quesadilla.. kitchen Staff must be too far behind. I get it, COVID happened, but come on. It had been 45 minutes since we sat and still didn't even get our meal. We have tried giving this store many opportunities in the 8 years of living in cartersville and every time we think they have thwir stuff together and they just don't. Don't even bother. Go to KFC, at least there you will KNOW you are going to be let down every single time.
The only reason I have a negative review is because I watched the host STEAL part of the tip we left for our wonderful server. I'm totally disappointed in this. She worked hard for her money, and her tip was 100% deserved. She was just terrific. The food was good, and quick.
Just terrible AGAIN! Took 30 minutes for shrimp Alfredo one of the easiest and fastest things to make. Then when she finally gave it to me it was cold and dried up. Couldn't eat it and left. This used to be my favorite place to go but this makes two times in a row I came here and everything was horrible!. The last time I ordered the same thing and the shrimp was not cooked right, the noodles where chewy and the brownie bite was burned and black all over you could even smell the burned odor and it was hard as a rock and no chocolate syrup on it. The only thing I can say is the one bartender not sure what his name is. He wasn't there tonight but he is excellent with service. Too bad he works for this place.
While traveling we stayed overnight in Cartersville. Walked in…despite very few customers at 8 pm on New Years eve, (what does that tell you) we had to wait 5 to7 minutes just to be seated. Waited another 10 minutes and finally had a waiter come by with menus. We ordered drinks and food immediately. 15 minutes later the appetizer showed up but still no drinks. Drinks finally came with the main course, Had to ask for water again. Got broccoli instead of mashed potatoes. Chicken wings were the wrong flavor. No more waiter…had to walk up to the bar to order another drink. After 10 minutes the waiter came to the table and said they didnt have any clean beer glasses…the place was empty! They took my empty beer glass ( they did ask) and refilled it. I watched and they didnt even rinse it out. Finally brought the check….sure enough it was wrong. Another 10~15 minutes to get it straightened out, wow, The only good thing was that the waiter was very nice and apoligized repeatedly. We ate everything because we were hungry and it was late. The food was okay…just all wrong. This place needs new management. I never experienced this at any other Applebees.
Was really excited to eat my chicken wrap until I turned it over and it was burned I was going to give them one star but they made me another one so I give them 3 stars
