The food is absolutely delicious. They cooked my salmon to perfection! The shrimp bisque was delicious and we loved our sides of brussel sprouts and collard greens. Also, despite being short-staffed, the service was amazing. Our server was super friendly but also very efficient. We visited while travelling but will definitely go again if we have the opportunity!

Any organization that posts a sign on its entrance door suggesting that if you might be supportive of the current president to NOT come in obviously cares nothing about being a servant to anyone looking for a good meal. Too many other establishments are welcoming and have the sense to be inviting to ALL patrons.

We live in Cartersville. Have traveled extensively and have eaten at innumerable excellent restaurants around the world. We have watched the owner of this one. He is a consummate professional committed to his business. He brings much to the town. We eat here often and have never been disappointed. Think of the obstacles a serious restaurateur faces today: finding and keeping good help, sourcing product, keeping prices down. I’m not sure how any of them keep their head above water. This place is fantastic as is their sister restaurant, Eight Track, around the corner. Please continue to support them. If you should ever have a bad experience they will do their absolute best to make it right. Please don’t take advantage of that. They’re doing their best to survive in a very difficult environment. Cartersville and North Georgia would lose a lot if Appalachian Grill were no longer here.

The food was great, the service! Highly recommend. Good menu, good staff. The staffs makes you feel at home. Highly recommend!

The chef tried to convince me a sirloin steak I was served was a filet mignon. Bad idea... I'm a butcher and cattle raiser. Watch what you get here. She tried to pay for the steak but I refused and tipped the waitress well, so I was not after a free meal. Also lobster was offered and I ordered it, only to get small langistinos, which is very young small lobster, disappointing meal.

Very nice restaurant!!We had a party of 7 at noon today and we were seated immediately. It has an old world, Aspen lodge feel to the decor. It was very well done. The server(s) were very well trained and appropriately attentive. It a little longer than we had hoped for the main course to arrive, but it was worth the wait. The quality of the food was top notch and very well prepared. However, all this goodness comes at a cost. Be prepared for a nice dinner for 2costing into the triple digit range. Mind you, I am not complaining. It was well worth the $300+ cost for our lunch.

We had the mussels to start, which set the tone for the whole meal. It's been a long time since we had mussels at a restaurant that were properly cooked and flavorful. These were perfect! I had the trout for dinner with asparagus and collards and a salad with gorgonzola dressing. Everything we had was delicious! We are looking forward to our next visit to try more things!

We have been to this restaurant many times since moving to Georgia. The food is delicous. The service is great. We will definitely be back with our Family and friends.

My good friend, the renowned Bill Temple, recommended this restaurant to me as I live in another part of the state. My only regret is that it is too far away from me for it to be a regular part part of my diet. You can bet I would eat there early and often if I was a local patron. The food, service and atmosphere was second to none!

Great food, great service, great prices
