I hadn't been in here for years, and after visiting today (Thursday May 20, 2022 around 1pm) I had forgotten what a great place it is.1. Prices are extremely reasonable.W2. Location is great3. Plenty of parking in area4. Service is fast and professional5. Food is very good and quantity is ample.I had the chili burger "all the way" which is burger with chili, onions and mustard. Absolutely delicious. My wife had the hot dog "all the way", hot sog.witj chili, onions and mustard.Based on these 5 factors, it's a 5 star place for us.Definitely recommend.

I am certain that this place would be far better had we went early in the day. We made the unfortunate mistake of going 30 minutes before close. Everything had clearly been sitting out for a while. The hamburger and fries were both cold. I didn’t say anything, but my friend complained about his fries and they put his back in the fryer for an extra moment and they told us that at this point in the day they really just want to go home. The cobbler was the only thing I was served that was hot. So, I got the impression that if you weren’t going for lunch at noon you weren’t going to get fresh food. Ultimately a disappointing experience for a place that everyone hyped up as the hundred year old burger place. Not sure if I’d try it again after that.
Interesting place the locals love. Only about 10 stools but people get up when finished eating. Menu is limited but varied.
Service was great but the food wasn't very good. I got a burger and fries at lunchtime the cheese never melted cause the meat was room temperature and the fries could've cooked for about another 5 minutes
Very good and not too pricey either. One of the best hole in the wall restraunts around in my opinion.
This place should be given a James Beard AWARD FOR MOST AMERICAN DINER EVER. Been around since the 30s and nearly identical to the original as it could ever be. I drive an hour for this food and would gladly drive 2.

A step back in time! Their chili is fab, the burgers are fresh and handmade, and the women that run it are lovely!
This was nastiest food I've ever tasted. If I could give it a zero stars it would be zero stars. The chili and hamburger meat had no seasoning. The hotdogs taste like it had soaked in the water for days.If you like flavorless food then this is the place for you. However I would never recommend this place to anyone and I would never eat here again.That was $10 wasted because I throw the entire plate in the trash.Update: I ended up with food poisoning from this food. I sick for two days.
