Worst food. No flavor. Very bland. The girl was rude and acted as if she didn't even want to be there. I tried this place when they first opened and figured I would give it another try. Possibly they worked out the problems. Mexican food should have flavor! The nachos has so much cheese sauce it was like slush'os. Tried this place twice and would not recommend at all.Response to your reply.... there was not one single vehicle that pulled up. I also stated if one did pull up that would kindly move. I had to call you on the phone from window and you looked right at me to take my order instead of just taking it. I could understand if you were busy. But not the case. Tell the whole story when dealing with customers. Without us you have no business. I also noticed from your reviews about your attitude. As all can see it has not been dealt with by management.
Deliciosos todo lo que venden ( las quesabirrias son mis favoritas con un consomé es lo más exquisito que he probado
I only gave five stars because there aren’t six! If you’ve read my other reviews, you know I know my Mexican restaurants. Tacos California is different, it’s more like whole-food recipes and original/unique sauces and salsas than “Tex-Mex.” Rice, beans & fresh pico are at the heart of it. It is locally owned and operated by experienced restaurateurs. The quesadilla is great, but the burritos and tacos are off-the-chart! Try the avocado salsa…you’ll thank me!
This...is...IT! I have searched for a place to get authentic mexican style tacos and burritos for a long time, and here it is. The lady at the counter was very polite and was happy to give explanations and recommendations on different items. I have an obsession for Chorizo, so I got the Chorizo burrito with veggies, and a small Lengua (Beef tongue) taco because I've wanted to try one forever. The burrito is HUGE, and delicious! It comes with fries and they were great also. I got all three sauces, and all three were worth getting and trying. The spicy isn't too hot, but if you need more heat it might be cause to bring some habanero sauce if they don't have it. The Taco was great, Lengua is a different texture but I'd definitely eat it again. Overall, I will be back to try more of the menu very soon.
GO EAT HERE!!The food here is absolutely amazing! I'm so happy that I have found a place that cooks food just like back home! Me and husband loved the customer service, and don't let other people tell you otherwise! We live not too far away but this will be our favorite place to eat.Tan asombrosa ??☺️
The best quesadillas I ever had!!
I live down the street from the Marathon on Newnan St, so I'm always there, and then this little place pops up! Tacos California is a cute drive-thru (or walk-in) taco stand. Everything is delicious! From the chips and guac, to a burrito and tortas! Made fresh right there! My absolute favorite thing on their menu is their iced hortchata drink (rice milk, cinnamon, sugar, and coconut)! ? You can take your food to-go, or you can relax outside on their patio and enjoy! Right next to the gas station and green belt trail, perfect spot to grab a bite and go!They're open from 11a-9p Mon-Thurs11-5p Fri & SatClosed SundaysI will include pics soon
Happy to say we finally tried this place after seeing it was coming!Let’s break it down:- Tacos: The tacos were pretty good, I feel like if I would’ve gotten lime it would’ve helped take it up a notch! But honestly I can’t complain, although the pricing did not do it justice. $2 for the small tacos and about $4 for the regular size… there are a lot of places nearby that cost less and give the same quality but this business is new and there’s still time to learn!- Asada Fries: These were pretty dang good! I can’t lie, I love love love that they introduced the Mexican Antojitos into their menus, im a Mexican from southside atl and I really do miss home and this kind of food, I hope they bring more like dulces enchilados or other sweets as such.I’d like to see full drink cups in the future giving the fact that the cups are clear and there’s no room to lack haha. But I understand this is the first day open, there’s plenty of time to figure it all out!Overall, Keep going & thriving, great new spot in town!!
Delicious, definitely worth the drive
I ordered the Birria Torta and 2 Birria Tacos. I have to say it was so fire no cap. The Sauce was nice and spicy but added flavor. Well for me that is. Until my next visit, then my wife can try it too.
