I normally love Monterrey but the service at this one while NOT BUSY was the worst. I won't go into details but our Server was pretty terrible. Good was good though

One of the best to go experiences I have had ordering to go for my work. We often order lunch as a group. It is a hassle to order for 8 to 12 people. And we can be hard to please. Many times there are issues. Today we decided to try a new place for us. I needed chips and salsa for every order. I needed an itemized receipt also so I could figure what everyone owed me(one person pays and everyone else pays that person back). The girl that took my order did awesome. The food was actually ready when they said it would be ready. Every order was correct and labeled with the food inside. Not only did I get an itemized receipt, I got individual receipts which made my job easier. And they gave us a box to take it in. Amazing.
Love this place. Food is delicious and service is great. Good prices. A great place to eat. We always meet friends there and enjoy a meal together.
A few things - The young man waiting on us was nice, except we felt rushed to go when we were finished. After we stayed awhile, a lady came to a table next to us and slammed all the dishes, silverware, and glasses to annoy us. The restaurant didn't close for another hour and a half. The young waiter was asking us, over and over if we needed anything - we continued telling him no, we were fine. When we were ready to pay the tab- he did what I consider begging: he said "do you need any change." Asking that question makes me not tip - waitstaff should say "I'll be right back with your change" and if they do that maybe they can keep the change. Won't be back. Trust me, there is no lack of competition in this town.
Our favorite place for Mexican style food in Carrollton. Always a friendly staff with fast and efficient service. The food is delicious - the chunky guacamole is a must start to the dining experience!

The staff was great. I got the ACP. It is not a well known dish. Basically it is a bed of rice, covered with chicken and cheese. I substituted ground beef for chicken. It was so good, I forgot to take a picture of it before it was all gone. I will be back!
