The place is open we walk in and about 30 people were in there but we were advised the dinning room was closed. Won't be eating there ever.
I had heard good things, but was very underwhelmed. They got our starter wrong, left pepperoni off our pizza, (which had almost no sauce on it at all) the wings tasted freezer burned, and the full sized greek salad, ordered as a meal, was served on the same plate they brought with the starter. I thought it was a bowl at first, but it was just a plate. For the price I was really disappointed. Zaxbys salads are four times as big and come with meat. The server was unattentive. There was one other table, three servers and they were on their phones at the bar. The only decent dish was the chicken carbonara. But it wasn't enough to come back for, in our opinion. I truly hate to leave negative reviews.
I waited an hour. They messed up my order. They sent us alcohol when we are both sober and don't ever want to drink. That's crazy.
We ordered pizza tonight for pickup, spent almost 60 dollars, my daughter gets back with the pizzas and starts to eat hers only to realize that the Alfredo sauce that is supposed to be on her pizza instead of the marinara is non existent. Called the restaurant to tell them and was told the only option she had since she ate 1 and a quarter slice was that she could come back up to the restaurant and get a side of Alfredo to dip it in. They tried to give me the excuse that Alfredo tends to cook out of the pizza in a brick oven, but every time we have gone to the restaurant she has ordered the same thing and never had a problem with it. We have been going to this restaurant for over a year and will not be back
Tonight was horrible. We ordered a calzone to share. It was tough, overcooked. We could barely cut it with a knife. We reordered. Then it was bland, no flavor. Not worth eating. The bartender abruptly gave us our check when she noticed we were not happy with our food . Didn’t take off the first calzone.. at least. It was not a good experience. Not like we have had before. Not real happy that we spent our hard earned money tonight. Should have stayed home and ordered Domino’s. It would have been better.
Came into Leopoldo’s tonight had excellent service! The bartender, Autumn, was awesome! I had the apple cinnamon cider cello that she makes in house weekly! It was the perfect seasonal cocktail. Highly recommend!
I can truthfully say that my experience with your establishment has been absolutely horrible. Not only have I been trying to talk to a manager about the extremely undercooked pizza, poor excuse of garlic knots, and horrendous Gelato but I was extremely disappointed with how I was treated. For 3 days I had been trying to get in contact to talk about my experience with a manager the best I got was "I'll let the owner give you a call." Which never happened. Being new to the Carrollton area I was so excited to try leopoldo's since a few friends have recommended the pizza. Not only am I disappointed but so are they. I will be contacting the BBB about the treatment I received.
I’ve had so much carry out pizza from the national chains that I had forgotten what really good pizza tastes like. Leopoldo’s is worlds better. The fresh, homemade crust makes it delicious. I’m so glad we stumbled in for lunch.
