My wife, son, and I went last night. After being sat, we waited 20 minutes for our server, another 15 for our waters, the food was ok, but I was a little irritated that the basket of chips were all tiny pieces like you find in a bag that has been thrown around the store for an hour before checking out. Planned on ordering a margarita but was never given the opportunity. Ended up having to get up and find our server who was chillin' at the register, then I decided to just get the check and head out. Been several times but this probably the last time. Too bad Carrollton doesn't have a good Mexican joint on the square. Locomex is worse.
Have been here many times and have been very disappointed in the less than great service. What I did notice last night was plenty of employees and them not caring if you had chips, a drink, etc. we waited well over 25-30 minefield someone to approach us and ask if we wanted anything to drink. We stopped many employees to ask who our server was they said the bartender was. Well she was very busy making drinks for the entire restaurant. Still no one offered us a drink or chips. Very poor service in my opinion. We decided to eat else where. Plenty of place to eat in that area on the square that would be happy to take our money and give us good service. Where is management? Do they care that this business is running itself in the ground. Every employee looked very unhappy and not one person was smiling. Sad to say, that will be our last night giving this place a fair shake.
Seems like every time I go here it gets worse there was only one waiter who was having to bartend, and there were 3 girls working on seating people. My wife ordered a chicken burrito with just shredded chicken and cheese first thing she got was a loaded beef burrito second thing she got was a chicken burrito loaded we said screw it fed it to the dogs they didn't even eat it. However on a positive note the margarita was jamming and the fiesta dip was good $14 for one scoop of cheese with some beef and chicken in it but whatever best part of the meal.
Terrible customer service. Young girls up front all on their phones. Didn't even get greeted. All I got was a "how many kids menus" I said 3 and she started walking away for us to follow her. Lays 2 adults menus on the table and walks away on her phone. Turns out they were out of kids menus. Had no idea. Food was GREAT!!! But we won't be back. It was those rude children working up front for me. We should really be instilling better work ethics in our future generations.
I ate here last weekend and I got food poisoning from the nachos. I thought my steak in my nachos was a little to pink but I didn’t think nothing of it. After I got home like 30 minutes later I had diarrhea back to back and felt nauseous all that night and next morning. Also the salsa they brought out was watery like water and when we asked for some new salsa the waitress said their salsa is just watery .
This restaurant has the poorest wait staff I have ever witnessed . We were there 45 mins before we were asked for drink order . Didn’t even bring menus . In 2 hours we finally got our food . The place wasn’t busy and it looked like they had plenty of wait staff . Plus the a/c wasn’t working properly or they had thermostat set on 85 plus . Notice to owners if you don’t improve your wait staff you willNot be in business much longer . There are to many restaurants on and off the square to go to . I’ll never visit your restaurant again !!!
We just went to that place and lousy service, half an hour and they never attended us and three waitresses who just passed by and ignored us, they should give them a customer service training, they don't deserve a star
The food was good and typically we have better service but today the waiter ignored us like we Were invisible. My drink was almost gone before our food was even brought out and I never got a refill. We had my two year old granddaughter with us and we never got napkins we had to take her to the bathroom and clean her hands. He went to the table up the way from us at least 4 times and even gave them some of their meal for free because he messed something up. If I’m ever seated in His section again I will ask to be moved.
The food was terrible, service was really slow. They didn't have El patron silver tequila and couldn't make a margaritas by hand only mix and that taste terrible. The food tasted bad The beans were almost slimey and made me have indigestion and luckily I only had a small amount. Won't go again.
Great food, good portions and I love when they have live music.
