I got online to place an order at 11:15 . It was to be a curbside order. should have been ready at 11:30 and I was there but when I called the number on the sign to have my food brought out I got a busy signal several times. I could not get ahold of anyone so I had to go inside. And they still did not know where my food was. I finally received my COLD breakfast at 12. After numerous inquiries inside. This is a very bad comment for someone that loves IHOP
It was Mother's Day. A bad time to go out for a bite. We picked IHOP because it wasn't packed. We were seared when we walked in. Someone came to get our drink order. We didn't get our drinks for 45 min. A new waitress came out and said they were having issues in the back. We waited another 30 for our order to get taken. We decided to leave. Didn't even drink our drinks. We were charged $14.50 for 3 teas and 2 kids orange juice. We were there for an hour and a half with no service. The restaurant was dead.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. They are inexperienced and don’t care about their customers. They treat you like an inconvenience. They don’t check on you while your eating. You have to track them down for a refill. They don’t pickup your old glasses. They don’t suggest any food items. They don’t seem to know what comes with certain food specials. The young guy we had was unfriendly and barely spoke to us. The other guy who looked like a manager just stood around talking to the young girls. I do not appreciate my family and I being given poor service. It was a waste of our time and hard earned money. I do not recommend and we will not be back.
Well for starters no coffee about 20 minutes later I got coffee and it was all you could eat pancakes well they only brought me 1 order of pancakes the cook was ready to go home because we heard him tell the girls they need to start cleaning to go home then my wife's food she ordered toast with her meal well after 25 minutes they finally brought her toast and never brought her refill on her drink so bad experience but only 4 people working and us and another couple was the only ones in there at the time we was there..
We had a waitress who was training pretty much by herself, who was awesome! But the table next to us had a server named Beth, who was not so nice... an elderly handicap woman was walking by our 2 tables, struggling to get to the back of the restaurant to the tables she was being seated at and she got between Beth and the table she was serving. Beth visually and verbally was aggravated that she had to wait for this poor woman to pass. She was bickering at her trainee about the woman, she was huffing and puffing, and shaking her head in disappointment. The handicap woman may not have been a customer of Beth's, but she didn't deserve the disrespect Beth gave her. Beth does NOT need to be training anyone, she needs to be retrained herself. Treat people better, Beth!
The service and customer service are HORRIBLE here. It's was a bad experience from the moment we sat down. First of all let me say there were just 2 other tables with guest at the time we arrived-(total of 8 people with the 3 tables??♀️?) the waitress brought us hot tea wen we finally did get our drinks, it took FOREVER to get our food once the order was placed, half of the order was brought out first of all and it wasn't cooked right. We had pancakes with no syrup for 20 minutes while waiting for the waitress to "check on us". I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich which I sent back bcuz it was cooked correct after waiting an additional 20 minutes on a replacement I bite into the sandwich and it's a HAMBURGER, NOT CHICKEN. at this point I asked for a manager after him and the other 2 waitresses stood around for 5 more minutes talking he strolls up with an attitude never apologizing or even saying he's the manager and after explaining everything that had went wrong to him and that after sending my food back once it still came back even more wrong than the first time, he says " we didn't have any more chicken defrosted because it's all frozen so I just made you a hamburger instead" ????but never came out to tell me that beforehand. I will never go back here again, the "manager" should be fired as well as the waitress who stayed hiding in the kitchen instead of serving the one table she had at the time.
No wait initially which is why we chose here but it took well over 30 minutes to get an omelette and pancakes. It did not appear to be busy, an employee's phone was continuing to ring so maybe personal problems. We should have waited for olive garden or o charlie. It wasn't even much cheaper. Not worth it.
I had a plate that had all you can eat pancakes. My wife had two bites of my pancakes to try the blueberry syrup. I guess that null and voids the all you can eat! I was unaware that one had to read the fine print to eat at IHOP!! Maybe people take advantage or maybe my server wasn't on their game.
It was nice. The food was good and the service was too. It snowed that day. So there weren't that many people out.
Clean restaurant food was good . The prices were out of control . Proably wont go back. But I would recommend if you are not concerned with spending $4 on hot chocolate.
