the food was okay but the service was terrible. I'd understand short staffed but we were the only ones there for the majority of the time we were there and the waitress was texting behind the counter (we could see her). We had to get her attention to get a box. Otherwise we go no assistance. There was a lot of noise and banging around. When I paid my check the woman was frustrated at the receipt printer and threw the receipt at me.

Bland food, rude staff. Not worth the money or time. Bathroom was a disgrace. (You're welcome, Billy Bob, I fixed your toilet.)

They have the best homemade banana pudding I ever ate! Ask to have it worm.

The people was friendly and it was clean, the food wasn't that good but it was quick. They could use more spices like salt and pepper when they're cooking.

Beef brisket was good. Fries were cold and mushy. Coke glass was do big. Next time, I will only order beef brisket, no sides and enjoy the meat.

Ordered chopped barbecue plate was delicious as always

Can tell from all the people it was a gem! We can through on a Friday evening around 5:30. The drive through line was full, and inside there were a lot of elderly folks eating…which told me, it has to be some good eating! The place looks like a restaurant from 50+ yrs ago! I noticed that Friday nights they serve fried catfish, and it seemed everyone coming in was ordering Just that…while we were eating I heard the cook yell “out of catfish”…so I would definitely like to try it…I did see it on several plates and it looked amazing! My wife had a cheeseburger, and it was your good homemade burger. I had the pork bbq plate…it was really good. The original sauce is a vinegar based sauce, but not too runny…it had more of a ketchup based texture. They also have a hickory sauce (which they said is a sweet sauce, and they have a hot bbq sauce which wasn’t too bad. Our waitress did recommend the bbq egg rolls, but we didn’t try them, although I would like to. It was pork bbq, cheese in a fried egg roll and you dip in ranch… Altogether, we have driven by this place for years and we will definitely make it a regular stop now coming through town. It seems that the hometown folk know this is the place to get a good meal! If you like good bbq, and just good homemade food, this is your place!

We went through the drive through. When I got home I see our bag missing 2 of our 4 sides and the Texas toast I ordered.I got a full slab of ribs and it was inedibly salty. The chicken was too salty as well and generally strange tasting.Payed $40, didn't get what I ordered, and the part of my order I did receive was not edible.

The food here is good. I like the bbq pork plate and the sides I like are the Brunswick stew and the onion rings. The service is hood as well.

I had the BBQ Brisket with fries and black-eyed peas. The brisket was great, the fries were ok, and the black-eyed peas had a strange spice. We didn't care for them. My husband had the pork and it was pretty good but the best thing on the table was the creamed corn; we both thought it was incredible. We took homemade banana pudding home with us which was WAY too sweet for me - my husband liked it more. Our service was good and everyone was friendly.
