Came in last Tuesday and ordered a caramel latte and a caramel macchiato. When the girl placed the drinks down which looked identical my husband asked which one was which. The worker said it doesn't matter bc they're both the same thing. Just a little confusing when you pay more for a macchiato. However the lattchiato was great. Strong flavor and love the ice that's used. I'll just know next time to save a few cents and just stick with the lattes.
Mixed feelings. The interior is absolutely inviting. Nice environment for reading, to pop open a laptop, or chat up a friend. Decent sidewalk tables...if only to gaze at the curbside rubbish and a colossal parking lot originally designed for God knows what. The café proprietor will likely blame his landlord for the debris, but the wiser entrepreneurial move would be instructing employees to step out outside once in a while to spruce up their store front. Not like they don't have the time. Their morning commuter clientele is virtually non-existent. Which leads us to the coffee. Are we sure it is coffee? Seriously, as a tenured international marketing exec who knows more about coffee culture than the macerated intelligence of everyone in this county...yeah, it's barely coffee. And that's utterly disappointing. Because when you have a location that's unseen from the main drag, you better have a stellar product that attracts customers to your establishment. At a café, that should be the dominant quality of the coffee, not the scented soap. My preference is always to support a local business, but any fool could moka pot or French press beans from the Dollar General better than this cafe blend. In Italian, "bella" translates to "beautiful" in English. Having spent my youth residing in Italy and my adulthood returning there, my expectation is that a café leveraging an Italian name should elevate itself to that word (Café Intermezzo in Atlanta did). As I live nearby, on occasion I'll return to see if the quality improves. Hope they're still around.
This shop is sooo cute! Plays soft instrumental music and has some really cool furniture, and sells homemade soaps! Overall really unique place! The coffee is an average price and the flavor is rich! The barista, Kayla, was kind and helpful! My only suggestion is to maybe have the music be a bit louder for a more comfortable ambiance :)
coffee was not good. gonna stick to starbucks. worker was rude and busy on her phone. i will not be returning here. it was overpriced as well.
the drink I order was not good, the employee who took my order rushed me and I was the only one in there, she was blonde. She was kinda rude too. I won’t be coming back here
Came in to try out the coffee and wasn't disappointed. Can't wait to go back. I got a whole milk hot mocha latte with whipped cream and it was so good. And it wasn't as expensive as some others I have tried. The store is adorable and I noticed they have some handmade soaps in the little section they have for merchandise. Really interested to test those out.
Use to go here in college when they were on maple street. Went in today, barista was super friendly and informative! Ice coffee was great and the blueberry biscuit was awesome. I like the warm feel of the cafe. I'll be returning soon!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice atmosphere and great coffee and sweet treats. Best kept secret in Carrollton. Check it out!
Great atmosphere that conveys many quaint aspects of Italian domestic culture. But wait there's more... free wifi, yummy snacks & best coffee ever!!! :) 100% recommend
Had a great decaf iced coffee and yummy oatmeal cookie. Very friendly staff.
