Have eaten here many times. Ate there tonight and the fries (one of the main reasons we go there) were different. No longer hand cut. Clearly frozen and not very good. I asked the waitress and she said they have new management, who changed the fries. Poor decision. I will not be returning. Why does management change a good thing? Carey’s in Marietta off 41 did this in the 90s then went out of business quickly.

This was my first visit to OCP, and I was pleasantly surprised. Not because I had heard anything, but because I have become used to the mediocre BBQ joints I have experienced in the area.On a busy Friday night, the servers were prompt and attentive. Food and drinks were served quickly. The meats were delicious, tender and juicy. The fried okra was crispy, and Brunswick Stew was on point, Lima beans notwithstanding (personal preference, I still ate them). I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. So much so, I force fed myself dessert. Also ??.Old Country Place has made the rotation.
Visited Ocp the other day and had a great server but the food was poor. My fries were cold and my brisket was dry. The salad I got was amazing though! A bit of a shame that a place that specializes in BBQ has poor BBQ. Most likely won't visit again.
I have been to OCP several times and it never disappoints. The food is amazing, great flavor and portion sizes. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any questions I had. I was welcomed with smiles from start to finish on all of my visits. Can not wait to get back over there soon.

I have been here multiple times! The food and the atmosphere is always amazing. Must try the Texas rueben or the catfish!

The fries were salty, the chicken in my chicken sandwich was hard, the kids burger was super small (Hawaiian roll size bread)... And the price was not super expensive but not cheap. My chicken sandwich was $14 and change, 6 wings for $12... I think there is better value at other places.
