Was there for a family birthday dinner. The waiter forgot to turn our order in. After 45 minutes he found our tickets. So another 45 minutes. From 11:45 to 2 o'clock was our time there. I understand mistakes happened. But more attention should have been applied, food was not what we expected. Steak nachos were no steak. It was ground beef.We were not happy on this visit. May not go back.
I'm not really a fan of this facility.. their restrooms are quite filthy, and the feeling inside is very very dated and old school chain restaurant. We do order take out from here occasionally because their food is still decent quality. Last night we ordered take out and the whole idea of "curbside" doesn't even exist. Applebee's does a better job at this than OCharleys.. you have to go inside to pick up off their take out table. If you're lucky, it'll take less than 10 min beyond the promised time to get your food, but DO NOT leave until you check to make sure it's all in the bag. I've made that mistake twice now. Something always seems to be missing. Maybe the dine in experience is different, but take out has been a headache. While waiting for my sides that's weren't in my initial to go bag that I didn't discover until I got home then had to go back to pick up, there were 2 uber/doordash/etc drivers the complaining about how they never want to accept deliveries from here and some other notoriously slow and inaccurate restaurants. I do feel for the staff at these places which is why I'm always kind to them even when they mess up my order despite my frustrations. However, other restaurants have gotten a hold on post pandemic differences and really thrived from the new opportunities and it's sad to see that not every place has taken this opportunity to improve. I would prefer to see OCharleys improve vs discontinue my patronage to their chain, however I cannot recommend this as a currently positive experience as an expectation.
Food Poisoning. Do not eat here.I enjoyed this restaurant until my family recently ate there and all got food poisoning, everyone who ate the chicken. I was hospitalized for loss of fluids. My results came back with positive for Rotavirus. I am appalled, disgusted, horrified, betrayed. I am still dealing with symptoms which are horrible. My parents came to visit for the week from out of state and they have spent the entire week sick, confined to their hotel room, unable to spend time with their grandchildren. I have lost 14 lbs since this all started and I am struggling to take care of my family every day.I am putting together a report for the department of health, with whom I have already spoken. I will update this comment with the case number once I receive it. I am so sorry for anyone else who had to experience this horror. Please do yourself and your family a favor and avoid this disgusting place.
Not a big fan of chains but O'Charley's in Canton is a sure thing. Courtney was a great server.
The chicken strips were amazing! The desserts were also great. The Steaks were Horrible, had a horrible smell, like bad meat, the ribs were way over cooked. It was 42 minutes from when we ordered our food till it was on the table, party of 6. And the worse thing is No More Prime Rib ?. That was the whole reason we went to O'Charley's.The manager did comp the steak meal, they get 2 stars for caring about the time and bad steaks but no one from my table will Ever Eat at an O'Charley's again.
Though the food was only okay, the service was most excellent! An enjoyable atmosphere with wonderful staff. It took a little patience to get things going, but I truly understand the heightened wait times in times like these. :)
Great Curbside Customer Service! We order lunch for the office on the regular and timing, preparation and service is always 5 stars! Thanks Biker Barb and all curbside employees for making our office life easier!
This used to be my favorite restaurant of all time, but I've been here 3 times in the past 6 months and the food has been absolutely terrible. One of the people in the party I was with a few weeks ago was served completely raw ground beef and now the loaded potato soup is made in house because they cannot purchase it anymore (which I understand is not their fault) but it's disgusting in my opinion. Maybe the wait staff could inform customers that the soup is not the same? Idk what has happened to my favorite restaurant but I don't think I will be back. The kitchen staff is not properly preparing the food!! I have alot of anxiety so im usually not one to even complain or send food back but this is the 3rd time I've had to send food back. The staff and managers have always been very nice and tried to take care of it and make it right but when you've been repulsed by eating raw food you don't really feel like ordering anything else. Just trying to be honest.
My office ordered lunch from the Canton location. I was impressed by how well it was packaged: hot things/cold things separated as they should be and everything was labeled on the outside so no need to go thru and open every container. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with the sauce on the side. The chicken was hot, the coleslaw and pickles were wrapped separately so as not to make the sandwich soggy and the sauce delivered! Thank you for the attention to details. We will be adding O’Charley’s as a regular to our lunch rotation!!
My husband and I decided to have our date night at the O’Charley’s in Canton. So glad we did! The food was delicious. My husband had the Steak, Ribs and Tenders platter. There was so much food! I enjoyed the New Orleans Cajun Pasta. Yummy! And a special shout out to the bartender, Heather. She makes one spicy Bloody Mary!!
