We tried giving this place chances as they are close to home and convenient but everything about it just keeps declining. My husband and I walked in and stood at the hostess stand for about 5 minutes before we even saw one staff member. The hostess walked up to the hostess stand while on the phone and was reading the menu off to whoever she was on the phone with. She never acknowledged us, not to seat us and not even to say “I will be with you in a moment” Other staff was coming out of the kitchen and saw us yet no one came over to seat us. She was on the phone for so long that we ended up turning around and driving to exit 19 to La Parilla where the service, food, cleanliness and vibe is always better. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
Standard Jalisco fair and it's fine but nothing special. I thought the chicken was a bit over done but it and the steak does have a nice grill flavor which is often missing.
This is a great little neighborhood Mexican place. I love the Tia Rosa chicken as this is the only place that serves anything like it. Great service also. Highly recommend coming here.
Honestly if I could rate zero stars I would. I had a to go order and waited for almost an hour. When I would ask about an update on my order, they would tell me 10 more minutes. After three times of asking, my food was brought to me and it was cold.
We had dinner there yesterday and Emma was our server. She is an excellent server and our food was perfect. She made sure everything was perfect. Ask for Emma she will take care you you!
Delicious, delicious, delicious! The food was just perfect; my favorite is the texas fajita they sell. The service was just as good- friendly faces all around. And of course, the man in charge of the Friday karaoke they have- an excellent feature, mind you- is more than friendly! All around great time.
We had the egg roll as an app. It was hot and fresh. Definitely recommend trying it with the sauce it comes with. The tacos Al carbon were pretty good. The steak had a good flavor. Solid choice if you like cilantro. The fish tacos and Mexican flatbread were pretty good too.The nachos got soggy pretty quickly.
They have good lunch specials with a wide variety the service was quick efficient we set at the bar they do have certain specials on drinks if you need them. The food had great taste and it was nicely prepared not throw together. I would recommend them. Enough said..
Good food and service. My wife and oldest daughter were there with me. Been working on her farm and that evening she treated us to the meals. Free good food, I love it and I love working with her on the farm.
This place has really gone downhill lately and it’s very unfortunate because we used to love eating here. We absolutely love their salsa and food normally.This visit, we waited well over an hour for our food only for it to come out cold. We told the waitress that it was cold so she took it back, brought it back out and even then it was only luke warm. We didn’t mind the wait because we understood that they seemed short staffed. However, our food coming out cold is an issue. When we told the waitress that it was cold, she told us that our food had been sitting there for a while. I ended up deciding to package it up to bring home and reheat it myself.Before the waitress brought us our check, I asked her kindly if there was any way that we could get something taken off our check to make up for the cold food. She then got very upset and told us that everyone was upset and had to wait for a long time, and that she couldn’t just give everyone a discount due to that. I tried to explain that it wasn’t the wait time, it was the cold food that was the issue. She barely allowed me to get a word in before saying she would mention it to the manager and left.We ended up only getting 10% off of our check, which was only $3 but I guess it was at least something. Just very disappointed lately with this restaurant.One table besides us ended up getting their food just to go and another had to search for someone to pay for their bill because they both had been waiting so long. We luckily are very patient and understanding but the wait time is a little unfortunate as well. We probably won’t be returning for quite some time until they get things sorted out.
