Pretty good Mexican good most of the time, adequate service, a lot of drink choices, pretty clean. I took off 2 stars because my daughter does not like Mexican, so I brought her own food. However they don’t allow outside food in, even if your spending good money and come regularly. I’ll be keeping their decision in mind when choosing future Mexican night restaurants.
This place is great!!! To the person who wrote a bad review about not bringing in your own drinks how cheap can you get? I’ve never heard of a restaurant that allows outside food or drinks on top of that EVERY restaurant has their own rules be mindful of that and respect their rules. I will be happy to pay for your drinks if you want to come in and eat with me just make sure you tip accordingly or we’re you cheap on your tip too? Do better people
We always bring our own “powerades” to every restaurant including fancier ones like Olive Garden and never a word. They pushed my family out the door agruing with me that they would not allow me to drink our own powerades. I explained they would make at least $40 dollars (minus food cost) to allow my family to eat here? They wouldn’t budge. The management is not the smartest here at all!!!
food is ALWAYS delicious
If you’re looking for Mexican food in Buford, Georgia in Sugar Hill you got to try Viva Mexico it’s pretty good! After my third trip in two months I decided they’re worth a review.Highlights and lowlights:?1. Tacos de Pescado. In Spanish, that means”Get the fish tacos!, Damnit”You’ll be glad you did. Blackened Tilapia on corn tortillas with pico de gallo you can’t beat it.2. Combinación Numero Cinco: Being a meat lover but I don’t always want a burger, I pick combination Number Five. In Spanglish, That’s dos enchiladas con arroz Y frijoles.?1. I had take points off for their chips and again for the applesalsa. The chips are too hard and the sauces too blah.I like chips that are almost like a pastry crust. Fatty, flaky. El Molcajete in Suwanee has the best chips, but that’s another review.2. The second important impression is the salsa. Chips, I can do without. Salsa, however, rules. I put it on everything. Yet Viva could do much better.I’ve learned in my years not to fill up on empty appetizers. And these chips and salsa are just not that great. In my opinion. Oh my justification why? It has to do with the consistency of the sauce. It’s like applesauce. and it’s not hot and it’s probably too sweet.flavorful and has the consistency of applesauce so I’m not a big chips and salsa guy so I would take it out of the equation of this review
Fast service and friendly staff, lunch fajitas were plentiful and tasted great. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone
Food was great! I've lived near here for almost 4 years and can't believe this was my first time here. The service was perfect. I couldn't ask for a better waiter. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because my Long Island iced tea was just ok. I'll be back though!
The food was great and the service was really good. The place was full and I still got my food without having to wait more than 15 minutes. Really satisfied with the nachos as I never had any with both beef and chicken. It was a great combination.
Dec. 12, 2021 Sunday 1pm I was craving Chile Rellenos so my husband and I decided to try Viva Mexico since we hadn't been there before and I saw a pic from a previous consumer of Chile Rellenos and they looked awesome! Sadly what I saw and what I got we're two totally different things!! What I got was a piece of a hard green Chile skin under a slop of what I think was cheese with ground beef or beans. I understand finding competent wait staff is hard right now and that didn't bother us that our waitress couldn't answer any questions about their menus and that we didn't get refills or napkins but food being as gross as my plate was......I simply would Never recommend this place to anyone!!!
This place is amazing, the service makes this place awesome. I love the staff they're so attentive and just so fast with making sure you're being taken care of!
