A fun place to stop and eat while boating on Lake Lanier. Can be busy at times. Burgers, wings, pizza, tacos, etc. Service was good too. Indoor and outdoor seating. Casual dress okay.

Love the Twisted Oar! Ryan, Stephanie and Mattie are amazing bartenders. I’ve been coming here for years. Friendly staff, good food and can’t beat the view of the lake!

An excellent Little restaurant and bar with easy access and great views of the lake and Marina. The food was very good, especially for a night of drinking and having a good time. The music was excellent and the vibe was lively. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Our bartender Ryan really helped to lighten the mood by making us laugh and recommending new drink combinations that we had never tried before. In conclusion the food and drinks are great, but what really makes me want to return is the staff and the happy lively atmosphere. I highly recommend.

I had a great dining experience today at the Twisted Oar! Ryan behind the bar was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and gave me an amazing service. His smile and personality made me tingle all over. I cannot recommend coming to see Ryan more!

We love Twisted Oar. Great, fun place on the lake. Ryan "big sexy" is the best bartender. Super friendly and god cold beer.

We came for the first time around 1pm on a Thursday and was surprised to see how busy they were. Drinks were good but slow at coming out. There was a separate drink menu that I happened to notice online and asked the server about besides the few items listed on the menu. There is also a beer menu. Server was friendly and didn’t rush us to order and allowed us to enjoy our cocktails. The grouper fingers are a bit small to be considered a “shareable” and pricey for the amount. They were delicious though. The fish and chips were also great but we think someone double seasoned the onion straws cause they very salty. The peanut pie is good but seems store bought. The funnel cake fries were amazing. Lots of seating~covered & uncovered with lots of big screen TVs. Bathrooms nice & clean. Lots of ducks in the area & the patio is dog friendly

Very laid back restaurant, the food was good, the pizza is a must here! Had an issue with my food but they took care of it. I loved sitting outside with the lake views. Pet friendly? FYI they’re ducks everywhere?

One of the best cocktails I have every had. I can't remember the name of it but it was perfect. The views of the marina were nice and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the Salmon BLT and the fried fish sandwich! If they switched to hand-cut fries it would have been better. The fries were a little on the greasy side. But everything else was great!

We were out on the water all day, so the Twisted Oar was a great place to tie up to refuel before closing the afternoon out! This is a dock based restaurant located on Lake Lanier. It comfortable seats about 300 people and services a lot of the house boats moored nearby. This was a Sunday and there was a wonderful atmosphere with live music and although we had to push off, it looked like the clientele were just getting started. The food was well priced and well cooked. The beers were cold, which was all we could ask for.Our only complaint was the time it took to get service. The waitress we had was excellent, she just had a massive area to cover.I wouldn’t let this stop you from visiting.

Came in on 2/20/2022, a Sunday, to get some brunch. The parking lot was pretty empty so we didn’t think there would be much of a crowd. Wrong. Our wait was an hour and when we were finally seated, no one came by our table for another ten minutes. When a waitress went to the table next to ours to clean it, she asked if we had been taken care of. By that point we were just about to walk out. We ordered and the food was good and we had a little better service. Verdict: service not great, food was very good.
