Not too happy purely because we were called liars about something that was on our bill that shouldn’t have been on there. Our waiter told us that cornbread came with our pulled pork platter. So when they brought it to our table we accepted it, as we thought it came with the meal. My brother had already ordered a cornbread appetizer before this.When our bill came and had 2 cornbread appetizers on it, we told them that we should only have one as we did not order the second and we were told it came with our meal. The manager immediately came over and said “WELL YOU TOOK IT WHEN I BROUGHT IT” without saying anything else but that and had a large attitude. We tried to explain that we were told it came with it - but we were continually just told that we shouldn’t have taken it if we didn’t order it even though we truly thought it came with the meal since we were told as such.Even if he didn’t say that it came with it- which he did- but just for matters of business - we were brought food that we did not order. Cornbread is something that seems as if it would come with a meal so some people may just assume it comes with it and take it even if they hadn’t been told it came with it. The food was brought to us mistakenly and that is their fault - not ours. But the blame was placed on us for just accepting food that they brought us.We would’ve gladly just paid for it even though we didn’t order it and not written a review if we would not have continually been basically called a liar for saying we were told it came with it. The waiter even lied to the manager when she asked if he told us that it came with it and shook his head no. He genuinely may have misspoken and meant to say that it came with another kind of bread but accidentally said cornbread. But own up to a mistake and don’t blame the customer.It’s just the principle of being called a liar and haggling with customers over something that should not be that big of an issue. Bad customer service.Either way, we still tipped well - because we genuinely didn’t care about the price. The manager was so upset and had such an attitude with us about it - the poor waiter probably felt he had to cover his tracks to avoid her getting upset towards him. So we still tipped him well. Maybe we shouldn’t have but he still has to pay his bills at the end of the night. The manager definitely needs to learn good business practices though. This shouldn’t have been that big of a deal.Food was great though!
Pros and cons Delicious street corn! Excellent waiter, pulled pork, and sausage. The corn sausage dogs disappointed. We received them very burnt on the outside and still somewhat raw batter on the inside. Why would anyone send out food like that? I should have sent it back, but I was hungry! ? Also, that is a picture of me on the toilet. As you can see, the toilet paper dispenser is right in front of you and very close. These are the smallest stalls I've ever been in!

The wait wasn’t long at all! we did go on a Wednesday evening but the food was amazing as always as well as the drinks. our server and bartender josh however was one of the best servers my family and i have had. he was very attentive, his energy was very chill and comforting and his customer service was great! he was also not afraid to take risks with our drinks and was willing to go the extra mile as well as give us his own tips and suggestions on certain foods!
I hope the waitress' name on my ticket is correct, which is Tiffany. She was nice and friendly, great customer service. No issues with her at all.She stated she was new when asked about the Happy Hour specials. So this part is taking away stars. I get Smokey Bone emails and they reference Happy Hours. Well "HAPPIEST HOURS" all the time and state that this is everyday. It has been about a good year since I've been here but in those previous times, I got to indulge in their HAPPIEST HOUR specials. I actually fell in love with the Peach Manhattan here at this location when it was one of the (HH) specials. They had a placard that stated the various drinks and food specials (previous visits)...So to my disappointment, when asking the waitress what are the drink specials; she said she doesn't believe they have any. So when she came back to table, since she stated she was new, I asked her if she could ask. She said she had asked the bartender and he said there were none (no specials)... Wow! That's disappointing because it was part of the reason I decided that we come here to eat, so I could get a good drink (or two). They should remove this from the emails or have an asterisks with small print at the bottom to say, excludes Buford location or something of the sort.Moving on to the next issue (where i take another star), I ordered 8 wings as part of my order and was shorted one. Another staff person (not waitress) had brought the food to the table. She then proceeded to wipe down another table. I walked over and told her I was missing one wing. She asked me if I wanted it. Uhm yeah! I am paying for them and they are not cheap here. Unfortunately they were dry and overcooked anyway. But it is what it is and I just ate them.
If I could give zero stars I would. Restaurant was empty, we asked to sit outside. We were told to hang on while they cleaned the booth outside. We were then taken to a dirty table along with trash all over the seats. Food took 30 minutes to arrive. Food was cold in the middle and NOTHING WAS SMOKED out of 4 dishes. I ordered smoked wings and received greasy fried bland wings. Not even a hint of smoke. When I asked the server if I received the wrong wings he said Nope those are smoked. They were fried to a crisp! My turkey was not smoked either! Corn was cold and bread was hard. Our drinks remained empty for a while as well. Checks were high and food was awful. We should have headed to PF Chang when we when it hit 20 minutes of waiting for our food in an empty restaurant. Save your money and stay away from this place!!
I went at pretty bad timing like an hour before closing and the staff was so short. One lady who actually I didn’t realize was a waitress because she was just standing there looking at me, until later I asked did they only have one waiter and I was told no theres two, and the girl who was just standing watching me was a waitress and so that gave me like okay, this place is not the place to go to because she had been standing there the whole time while I stood by the podium waiting for someone to say “how many?” —- menu is something like a less than longhorn, The ribs are good BUT dry. Like they’re good, but the sauce is very limited when they bring them. The mac and cheese is good, but the first time experience really I did not enjoy, and I wont be back so willingly.
Upon entering, there were people already waiting to be seated in a empty restaurant. They were sitting there for 15 minutes, while we waited 7minutes.Once seated, we had one waiter, then we got another waitress.After ordering our drinks, we noticed how hot it was in our area, which was across from the bar area and asked if thier was another area not so hot or have the ac turned on (82° outside).The ac came on for about 15 minutes and went back off.When our food came we were miserable with the temperature inside. We tried to enjoy our food, but could not.Our drinks were not correct, as the drinks called for fresh fruit in it and certain juices, but the waitress said the manager stated they were out of the product. But I still had to pay for our drinks.We ended up taking our food to go and in the end, our dogs enjoyed the food as when we heated everything up, ugh the meat was too tough.
Excellent dine-in service from start to finish! Our server, Desmond, was knowledgeable of the menu and attentive. He kept us informed throughout our dining experience. Our food was prompt and delicious! I ordered the "Double Trouble." The ribs were meaty, juicy, tender, and fall off the bone good! If you are in the mood for some delicious barbecue, look no further than Smokey Bones.
We had a great time with our server Boyd. What patience, knowledge and customer service skills.We didn't have to ask for refills on food and drinks.
