We tried out a new restaurant for lunch today! It was pretty good! I had the country fried steak and hubby had the baked chicken. They only have white meat chicken by the way. We even got strawberry ? shortcake for dessert, but ended up bringing it home. The place was packed and even their drive thru was wrapped around the building 45 mins before they were to close at 2pm. You can't beat the "small town" atmosphere in this place. They have a donation box for old American flags, multiple flyers posted about local car shows they support & they are running a donation box for school supplies for the community! Just a wonderful place! Definitely delicious "comfort food!"
A country cooking restaurant that serves cafeteria style. Terrific service and good food. The only downsides are they can run out of certain foods pretty quickly and they are no longer open for dinner.
Great team of people who work there! Madison was super attentive and suggested that we try the Papa Jack's branded hot sauce and she was right! It was excellent. The restaurant has a buffet line of all the great breakfast staples... bacon, eggs, sausage and gravy, biscuits and more. They also have made to order items that they will deliver to your table. Prices are very affordable and the quality is great.
Absolutely not impressed. I thought since it's always full in the parking lot and drive through that the food would be better. I took my mom here today. I had biscuit and gravy, bacon and scrambled egg with cheese. My mom had hashbrowns, bacon and scrambled egg. Drinks were coffee and a coke that totaled to 28$ plus tip. The biscuits and gravey was not delicious at all. I'll honestly make the trip to rabbit town Cafe. The 3 starts are towards their staff that was very nice. 0 for the food.
This is a cafeteria style restaurant with everything a la carte. The eggs for me were ok, never knew you could screw up over medium eggs before. My husband had scrambled eggs hat were not good. The bacon was good along with the wheat bread. The coffee was too strong and bitter. The table we sat at was not clean along with the dead roach in the light fixture in the ladies room. Yuck never again. Can’t figure out why it was crowded with the problem we saw.
One of the best places to eat. I've had my fair share of food from here and haven't had anything bad. Food is always hot and fresh and the employees go above and beyond to help out.
Great food and employees are very nice.
Good ole country cooking. Been going to Papa Jacks since their first location by the liquor store. Puts Cracker Barrel to shame. Amazing staff and great food at a great price. They do so much for the community as well. God Bless.
Went here because they had a drive-thru. Ordered 3 gravy biscuits, 3 chicken biscuits, 2 hash browns, and 1 strawberry french toast. A box for each order was given so there wasn't enough time to check through every box to ensure that all the food I paid for was there. Needless to say, drove home and found out I was short 3 chicken biscuits ($10). To think I even gave a tip is funny. It would cost more in gas to return to your restaurant and get the things I already paid for back. You made a good margin on me. I don't blame the staff because I know how hard it is to work at a quick pace. You did a great job and were courteous at the window. Ownership needs to learn how to put some standards in place so this kind of thing doesn't happen.
Okay, it is solid country cooking so those who don't know just don't know.Solid food, tons of options and the service staff kept the tea and coffee flowing. That was truly first class. Thank you for the amazing hospitality.
