I went here on a Friday about 1 PM. The ice machine was broken, more than half of the tables were covered in trash (I wish I was exaggerating), the soda tasted watered down, we waited 21 minutes for our food, and my pizza was slightly overcooked. I am disappointed because I enjoy other Newks places.
I ordered togo because I found them on doordash and they looked like a really nice little eatery. I ordered the Southern salad, which is their chiken salad on top of a salad. Their website and doordash descriptions says that there's supposed to be grapes in their chicken salad and there were no grapes in it. At all. Which is sad because I love grapes in chicken salad. There were grape tomatoes in the salad but we all know that's not the same thing. It had plenty of pecans and the flavor was fine but it was very disappointing for the price to find that there were none. Won't be ordering the southern salad again but I might try something else as their mac and cheese was really good.
Walked in on a Sunday at 3:00pm. Literally nobody was in there. No staff no customers. Sign said open. Waited for about 10 minutes. After I tracked down an employee and asked if I could order, said he would be with us in a few minutes. Sorry to inconvenience you with my business Newks. Also $14 for a club sandwich is a bit much.
Awful customer service. I went in to place an order on 04/28/2022. A lady was coming out with her food. Another customer was coming in behind me as well. No one approached us to take our order. One worker was sweeping, another worker was taking out trash, and three other women/employees were sitting at a table talking. No one acknowledged us at all. I asked the gentleman taking out trash for assistance, he stated one moment and kept cleaning. The three women and the other gentleman never acknowledged us. I called and one of the women sitting answered the phone. I left a message for the GM to call but never received a call after 5 days. I called back and attempted to speak to the GM and she made excuse after excuse. She stated the ladies were probably on break or preparing a catering order for the next day. What does that have to do with providing customer service to paying customers that walk into the restaurant. I told her that those excuses were unacceptable and she offered me to come back for a free meal. I politely declined because I can pay for my own food but clearly customer service is an issue here and not a priority. Horrible experience and I will never return to this location.I tried three times to do the review per response from the owner but I get to the end of the survey and the submit button doesn’t work.
Love the the food, but service could be much better. The person working the registers today literally saw me waiting at the front to be helped but ignored me. I had to reach over the counter to grab my online order because instead of assisting me she continued to straighten chairs. Weird because the store was not busy at all.
Seriously? Ordered a salad with salmon for almost $5 extra and it didn't even come. Pizza was cold. Waste of money and really not great food. Find other places to go
Ok staff but the food was shameful. Other locations are better. Get it together, the cooks are sending our half cooked food
This was my first time visiting and Amanda displayed such great customer care and was highly attentive in her servicing. She made my slight amendment I needed to my order very easy and made sure to keep courteous and professional throughout the process. Thank you again Amanda, your efforts towards excellence did not go unnoticed.
Food is good but the service isn't. Uber eats had a promotion for this restaurant that said "buy one get one free" but when I added my sandwiches to my cart, it was still charging me full price for both. I called up to the store and asked what the problem may be before I placed the order and the manager said "Well we can refund you for one of the sandwiches to help out this one time". I placed the order and never got my refund. I don't mind paying for 2 sandwiches but don't lie to me just to get me off the phone
