I love the food…but the winter melon tea tastes like water. Not sure if someone messed up. I wish I was at the store so I could ask for the exchange or something.Edit (after the owner’s response): my husband didn’t recall if anyone mentioned that, but I still appreciate the explanation in the comment. I thought the sugar level just meant sweetness itself, didn’t know it would affect the flavor.The cashier (there was a trainee sticker on her hat) did ask my husband if the winter melon tea needed anything else like milk or toppings in it, so he called me to confirm, but he didn’t recall if anything else was mentioned. I don’t think it’s the cashier’s fault though. While I appreciate your response, your comment doesn’t sound too kind to the customer.Next time, I’ll definitely try 100% sweetness on winter melon tea…
They have really good boba, but we drove over 30 minutes and was told they were out out of brown sugar boba, we were offered other toppings but they couldn’t give a discount.. poor customer service. This is like chick fil a saying they are out of chicken..
Only the 7th time I've been here. But today they let me know how incredibly rude they can be. I know this isn't Starbucks but what are you gonna do with the WRONG drink you made? Dump it out, instead of letting the customer keep it. Oh but they wanted to take the easy way out and add the bubbles they forgot to add to my drink instead of remaking it completely. Dont be greedy and expect your customers not to complain.
Kung Fu Tea is in discussion for one of the best spots for both boba and snacks in Duluth. My wife and I used to come here during COVID and after very regularly. I would always get a Thai milk tea boba with 30% sweetener. The staff at the register would always explain at the beverage is very bitter. I prefer my beverages bitter and usually drink green tea uncut with no sweetener. The boba is already fairly sweet and when more sugar is added makes the beverage overly sweet, for my taste.However, on my last visit, the staff drew a hard line on not reducing the sweetener whatsoever in the beverage that I had been ordering the same way for the past almost 2 years. The young lady at the front was very polite and courteous about it and definitely had the best intentions of the customer in mind. The staff is always lovely at this location.Unfortunately, I will not be coming back to this location due to the fact that I cannot get a beverage that I like that has the flavors that I like. So I will find another place to frequent.

Paid for a drink needed to use the bathroom and was told they have them closed for Covid……. If you’re so worried about it then why don’t you wipe down the key pad everyone uses… I’m not happy about this I am traveling stopped in for a drink and have to go somewhere else just to use the bathroom. This is the only king fu tea doing this that I’ve been into and I go to them a lot.
Normally, I love getting the wintermelon milk tea so today I wanted to try the wintermelon jasmine green milk tea! It was absolutely delicious and the boba was on point. I had the tea over an hour around 2pm and I was feeling great and caffeinated. By 6pm I noticed my hands were shaking so bad that my handwriting was squiggly and I couldn't hold it steady. By 8pm I was really tachycardic with my heartbeat reaching 140bpm while just sitting. By 11pm I got so nauseous and dizzy that I started googling urgent care near me. I am normally very sensitive to caffeine but I can usually tolerate a cup of green tea so I was so puzzled as to why I was feeling this awful. Then I googled every medication/drug I took today (vitamin gummies, lactaid, extended-release metformin, caffiene) and.... I found the culprit. apparently metformin slows down caffeine metabolism and enhances the effects/side-effects of caffeine... and I had literally taken the pill with my caffeinated tea. Just wanted to write this review as a PSA... don't be like me. If you take metformin beware of the crossreactivity... It's 1AM and my heart rate has come down to high 80s and after vomiting a couple of times I finally feel a bit better. Tea was 10/10 but I'm going to be sticking to my non-caffeinated drinks from now on.
I certainty didn't see any kung foo tea, but they certainty did have balls for my mouth. I love balls in my mouth(Especially when it's Boba). I would take my husban's boyfriend here, but he'd get jealous with all the balls I'd be putting in my mouth. Please stop calling my number.
Amazing tea, drinks are good. Only reason I took away a star is because the inside seating is closed and no public bathroom. Very inconvenient. Next time I want to have a drink and catch up on some work I’ll have to go to Starbucks across the road.
