I was disappointed to find the lobby closed in the middle of the day...after I unloaded all three kids. But I understand that they maybe have personnel shortages (???).They didn't take the order at the screen. They said it was because they couldn't hear with the noise from the traffic. Which I completely get but that meant ordering without a menu in front of you...which was a little frustrating. They were nice at least.
Obviously the donuts are incredible, but the customer service makes me not want to return. On my last visit, after paying and receiving my donuts and drink, I realized I had been charged $10 over what it should have been and my drink was incorrect. I asked one employee if I could have these things corrected and she said no, it was too late. I knew that wasn’t true so I asked another employee the same thing, and she said they were too busy (even though there were only 2-3 other customers), and that she wasn’t going to bother the manager.Again, I have no issues with the food, and I would choose Krispy Kreme over any other donut shop. Just not this location.
Worst Krispy Kreme ever. We pull up and all lights in front of building and at drive thru and intercom are off. We wait 30 mins. Maybe 5 cars in front of us. Several times people honked because we never moved. We finally got up to the intercom and the guy says we are only serving a dozen glazed donuts. We didn't want 12 donuts. Ridiculous. Now I know why they gave a 3.5 rating.
Who can give Krispy Kreme a bad review? If you don't know what you're getting when you go there, then you just shouldn't go. Ooey gooey glazed goodness, jelly and lemon filled decadent delights, fruit-filled and frosted donuts. YUM! Join the club and get perks.
Tried Krispy Kreme last night thinking they must be back to “normal”. Sadly, the donut case was empty, employees were yelling at each other in an apparent disagreement. Walked out. The last 3 times I came to this location, they were “closed” during posted operating hours. More specifically, I was on my way to a class that starts at 7pm hoping to pick up a dozen and not once in the last year was I able to. This location is losing so much business and I’m just sad that mismanagement is continuing. Please, Krispy Kreme corporate, please give Buford back our favorite donut shop!!
Donuts are so good ?.. my latte.. not so great... Not hot at all.. didn't get the right donuts.. all in all... Just ok..
These donuts are the best. I saw them making it which was very cool. My favorite place to get donuts.
I love their donuts so much and I think they are the best. About 5 years ago I tried one of their donuts but I didn’t like it, now I and getting boxes of donuts every other weekend. I don’t understand when people say “nobody came to the drive thru” or “nobody served me and I got half of what I wanted”. I got a half a dozen 30 minutes ago and they were perfectly fine and delicious.
I've tried giving this store a chance but the level of unprofessionalism is out of this world. Employees packing and making donuts for themselves, sitting in the lobby eating while letting people in the drive thru wait. Selling old and faulty product. I'd drive back to get my money back if I didn't have better things to do. As the shift manager was present and was also horrible, I'm pretty sure this store is lost. How did it go from one of the best stores to the absolute worst within a year. I'm flabbergasted.
The last 2 visits I've made to the Buford GA location by the Sam's has been terrible. BOTH times not only did I sit in the drive thru for more than 15 minutes, but I was given "OLD" donuts. There is a big difference between their donuts that are fresh (Hot sign on), ones that have been cooked recently but not hot, and ones that are old (where the icing has started to dissolve into the donut and the donut becomes hard). Well for me it has been the last scenario ?. The staff that is working there usually are young and have no regard for what they serve customers. Hell it's bad enough that the donuts have decreased in size and the price has gone up! I remember when my father would take me to the original Westend location and the donuts always tasted good, no matter if the hot sign was on or not. I will now start supporting the Duluth location, as there I get good service and good donuts.
