have had a bad opinion for a while. whenever i go i notice that the workers seem exhausted probably due to being overworked. i believe for them to be better they need to have more people working on weekends because waiting for just tea for over 30 minutes is kinda ridiculous. also from wut i remember they freeze their leftover boba and use it the next day which is just nasty. the teas are okay but i would never eat the boba or go there ever again. there are many better options near the mall. its sucks that the location is so convenient, but i would not recommend this place at all.
Kokee Tea is one of the few boba shops that already have me anticipating to return. Their milk and cloud foam teas are solid, but I high recommend their fruit teas more. Their speciality fruit teas are the best I’ve had, especially the Dream of Butterfly. They are constantly either short staffed or training new staff, so there will be a wait, but I promise it is worth it!
I’m so conflicted because while the drinks here are pretty good, the service is slow. Behind the counter, the employees are working as quickly as they can but it’s obvious that there are some process issues here bottlenecking their production rate. This place could really benefit from consulting with a process engineer to figure out how to increase efficiency. Heck, just look at average time people spend here on google - as of this post, that statistic is 10 min. People don’t spend 10 min here because they’re hanging out , they do so because it takes that long for you to get your drink - even if they aren’t that busy. Interestingly, the woman whom I assume is the manager is never actually working or helping her employees manage the rush. She’s usually doing menial tasks while her team frenzies around to fill orders. If you come here, prepare to wait patiently for your drink…
This place serves really good drinks but the service here is a disappointment. Kokee tea gets customer’s attention and satisfaction with their products but the workers do not like giving customers the satisfaction. I waited in line for 25 minutes before it closes and at 6:47pm the staff closed the doors right in my face and the rest of the customers. I am a loyal customer and they had 2 minutes to still take on orders. I am disappointed and will not be coming back. Kokee tea get your staff in order if you will. I’m going to kung fu tea.
I got the Strawberry Milk tea ? it was amazing! The barista was very polite and gave good reccomendactions. 10/10. It was about 5 dollars for the drink without tax.
My cashiers name was "Lee", unsure of exact spelling. There was no one there when we arrived. I went up and looked at the menu and was asked "What do you want?". I responded "I don't know yet".She took extreme offense to this, for whatever reason. And she responded "Well I was just asking, if you don't know what you want you can return to your regular business." Verbatim. Word for word.I, shocked, responded "Oh, im so sorry". She just glared at me at the register.I out of shock and being uncomfortable ordered a honey milk tea. It's average, and that's being kind.As I grabbed my drink I noticed the health score was 83, last scoring 53. I would rather drink iced sewage water with rusty nails than ever step foot in this place again.This "business" is not a business. It's shocking and a disgrace. And, quite frankly, the McDonald's of Milk Tea as a whole. Please spare your time, money, and energy.A better chain, nearby this location is "Kung Fu Tea" and they won't harrass you for looking at a menu.
The worst drink I’ve ever gotten. So bad it took me a while to buy a boba tea again.. the one in north point is WAY better.
I had a blended peach drink with Mango Boba. It was DELICIOUS!!! I can't wait to go have another one asap. The only reason I didn't give the shop a 5 star was because the wait was a bit long but thats probably because they were understaffed like most places are now.
I'm not sure why a lot of the reviews are bad, but when I went the owner was very nice and my Oreo C&C was sooooo delicious! I don't think I've ever had any Oreo C&C that good. I would definitely visit again. 오레오 쿠앤크 강추합니다!
First, let me say that the location is nicely decorated. On to the real...the sanitation practices are horrible here. The cashier was visibly drinking while taking orders. Not once did I see her wash her hands or pull her mask up. Never again!!!
