Many reviews here are reflecting to the "immaturity" of the staff. I for one , love it they are loud and laugh and seem to be happy working there with eachother. You have any idea how rare that is !Some people are just miserable and tend to reflect that upon these guys (and ladies) behind the counter. The sandwich was made with care, tasted absolutely like a heart attack on a fresh sub (just the way I like it) delicious!And for you salty impatient people, are you sure you're not being the immature one ?!
Somehow all staff present during our meal was unprofessional. Two staff members were straight up catch with a football behind the counter???? With their gloves on??? One of the workers hit the “pick up here” sign which was right next to one of the tables with customers eating there. One of the other staff members was eating while taking an order at the register. Will not be returning.
Like the previous review. I was just there today and they used to be quick and personable. The guy at the front didn't make me feel welcome. It was like I had to read his mind as he wouldn't speak. Order got forgotten about while I was waiting. I ordered peppers on it and even asked for confirmation that the put peppers on it. Got home ... no peppers!!
This location has everything going for it but the help. So bad. I have had numerous disappointments at this location. But my last (and final) visit was when I ordered a number 9 (Italian) at the "drive through window" and they didn't put any meat on the sandwich. Found out once I got it home. No meat on an Italian sub. Hello? Mistake or intentional? I'm guessing intentional. I shutter to think that these sandwich technicians are allowed to vote in political elections! I do not trust reviews (they are often fraudulent) and you shouldn't either. See for yourself. Employees can wreck a great sandwich restaurant consept if they are allowed to. Obviously it's hard to find good help in the fast food industry. Are the restaurant robots coming? They couldn't do any worse.
Show up noon on a Sunday, drive thru says “drive thru is temporarily closed”. Ok.. can I come inside? “We just got a large catering order and my manager is alone, so we’re temporarily shut down.”I don't completely blame the staff, why is this location understaffed?
Order online , pick up in store. Go to the giant finger and sign that says “pick up here” Everybody stares at me and ignores me until I say do I get my own? Then they point to a shelf where bagged food is opposite side? Put hot peppers on which I did not request. And for the first time in many times I had to stale Italian bread (if it bangs on the counter it’s stale) which that’s not something you want when you’re wanting a Jimmy Johns
I used to order from this location all of the time and they were extremely fast and usually got the order right. My business is less than a mile down the road from this location. I ordered delivery in fall of last year only to wait for an entire hour for my food. I decided not to order again for awhile until they could get things together. I tried again today and after waiting for 30 minutes with no update I called. They told me there was only one delivery driver working and that I was #2 on the delivery list. Thirty minutes later the delivery driver had still not shown up and when I called again they said she had not come back from her first order yet. The manager proceeded to bring me my order 15 minutes later and tells me the delivery driver’s car had broken down. I told him it would have been nice to at least been given a phone call to let me know it would be over an hour to get my 2 sandwiches. Will not be ordering from JJ’s again.
The woman at register took my cash after order and proceeded to start making sandwiches WITHOUT changing her gloves from handling the cash. When my coworker said that they wanted the sandwiches remade with clean gloves, the woman then got mad at us about it. This is food service! You need to have proper sanitation with it!
I just had a great experience at Jimmy johns in Buford! The three gentlemen working were very pleasant, they were short staffed but quick! I am very happy with my visit! Michele
This location has the funniest bathroom tiles in the mens room. The tiles have photos of ridiculous positions to relieve your self in. Additionally the sandwiches are quick, delicious and made to order. My only negative feed back is that the staff can be a bit cold.
