Long time Buford resident used to come here all the time when I worked down the street, decided to stop in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Place was empty but was filling up by a handful. We were seated immediately and given chips and salsa and the waitress took our order immediately but took several minutes believe over 8 minutes to return with our waters. The food took additional 20 minutes after the water. We ordered the lunch fajitas which was placed on a dinner plate no skillet, chicken had no seasoning and was dry. Unfortunately we had to wait additional 10 mins after our food was delivered to receive our tortillas and fixings for the fajitas. Barely any pico and the sour cream tasted spoiled. I also had a pinch of gauc. Rice was bland only thing great was the chips and salsa. While waiting, I observed the waitress being the only one on the floor and she had over 7 tables. Everyone needed attention. There was 2 managers, 1 disappeared to the back and 1, heavy set Hispanic woman, sat at the empty bar on her phone eating. She came to help for a moment but caught an attitude when we asked for additional items and gave us a remark "I'll let your server know" and went back to sitting and chilling on her phone. This place really went down hill need new management and upgraded menu.
Never been to a Mexican restaurant with no margarita menu. Have to rely on the server to list off what they have and the price. Hugely inconvenient, shouldn’t be an ordeal to select a marg. Drink menu has a variety of other, very expensive mixed drinks instead of margs, I hopes that’s ordered instead. Ordered one food item - cheese dip without jalapeños. Couldn’t even get that one thing right - came out WITH jalapeño.Booths are uncomfortable and hurt your back from being too straight and stiff. All and all complete fail.
We love Cabos right near my house. We always get the nachos Supreme with extra cheese sauce. We eat here probably 3x per month and one of the managers knows my order when I call because we always get the same thing. My wife gets nachos supreme with chicken, I get the same but with beef.
I worked as a server at both this location as well as the spout springs location all through high-school and now almost 10 years later this is still my favorite Mexican restaurant. We live in Florida now but every time we are in town we make sure to stop. They roast pepers/tomatoes daily for their fresh salsa. Their queso with jalapeños is easily the freshest and best around! They serve all their chips fresh and warm. Our favorite dish here is the cheese steak burrito but let's be real They have a ton of other good dishes on the menu! This place has a special place in our hearts and we will continue to visit for years to come.
Awesome service.Very generous, serving portions. Well prepared food.Flavourful and nicely presented dishes.Did I mention, awesome service.
This isn’t authentic Mexican food. Their food is catered to White or American diners. Their tacos are made with grilled onions. I have travelled all over Mexico and have NEVER had a taco with grilled onions. To make things worse, the tacos don’t include cilantro or limes and are strangely served with a side of refried beans. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, go to El Jalisco on South Lee.
Great Service by Karla, negative is the salsa/chips it needs to be replaced with a bold rich tasteful salsa. I know alot of Mexican restaurants use the same salsa from the food distribution companies. If it's the first thing a customer is experiencing, I say wow them with something that doesn't taste like every other Mexican restaurant. I will repeat in a few months to see if they make a switch.
Great service and our waitress is fantastic.
