This Barberitos has always been hit or miss. Sometimes it is bangin and sometimes it is kind of gross. It is good more often then bad, but I do find myself returning here often. The staff have always been nice and quick. Good for a quick lunch
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants to go to when I lived in Dacula. My parents asked me to house sit for them and one of the things I was looking to most was getting to return here and get a delicious burrito!Well... things have changed over the years. I noticed the serving area was dirty and part of the lobby is now used for storage. Not huge deals, it was lunch time. But the employees were kinda unprofessional and my food was not good. It was cold and flavorless. Also it cost me over $16 for a chicken burrito with no extras and a small cheese dip. Insanely costly for the low quality. Unfortunately I will not be back.
I live in Athens. But occasionally come out to Buford… so I stopped in at like 820pm something and Max & Polan (spelling?) were the best! And I feel so bad coming in right at close but they were super awesome about it and I love that for barberitos! THEYRE DOING THE BEST JOB!
Don't ignore the bad reviews. They're true. Gross. The restaurant smelled of trash and the tables were unwashed. They were serving turned guacamole (fermented fruit taste) and burnt steak and rice. It was the least pleasurable burrito I've eaten. I still ate it because I was hungry. Two stars because my stomach didn't get upset and the queso and chips were ok. I won't be returning and advise you to not buy food from here.
Went to get dinner for the fam bam because my wife was home with a sick kid. As a certified Mexican I am highly disappointed. They are skimpy with ingredients. Lime slices are cut in half! I asked for two lime slices and ended up with the equivalent of a lime slice. The owner needs to go to Barberitos in Bethlehem to learn what excellence is. They set the standard for everyone else. Only reason for 2 stars is because the staff was outstanding.
I work for doordash and i have had horrible experiences at this place every time so I had to post a review. They said it would be four minutes and I said okay no problem I'm very patient because I know how tough times are right now. A couple comes in a minute or so later and as I'm watching them do nothing they serve them and put them through the line as they do nothing for me. One of the employees as I asked them why they're not making my food he got confrontational I told you it be four minutes and it already been like 15. He said something about the rice not being done however he served everybody else. I asked him his name and come to find out he said Colby and he was the General Manager... I'm a nice guy but this guy should be fired the way he acted. You could just tell he had attitude because i was a delivery worker. He said all places serve customers before Drivers not correct this is the only place that treats me this way. Stay far away from Barberitos.
Gross gross gross!! The serving area where our food was made was disgusting, old, dirty, and COLD! All meat was cold upon serving. I was really worried at that point. Not only was food cold, the whole place seemed dirty. Then the toilet was overflowed, dry goods stored in lobby, kitchen trash apparently stored near bathroom. Another horribly mismanaged business soon to be shut down for health violations or else your local health department does not work for the citizens. Avoid like the plague. Moes or Chipotle would be preferred until they can figure out their mess.
This is the dirties restaurant I have ever been to and I have eaten at restaurants in third world countries. Barberitos is a good chain but this one should be avoided at all costs. The place is run by teenagers who do not care that the food is cold, the tables are dirty and the bathrooms look like something out of a horror movie. How does one get feces on a wall? You'll get a better meal at the Taco Bell across the street. Yuck!
The last 4 times we’ve ordered from here via Doordash they’ve messed up the order. We haven’t received multiple items each order (which could be Doordash’s fault) and the items we do receive are wrong every single time. Tonight I ordered a burrito bowl with no cheese and they put only cheese on it. I can’t eat dairy so that’s a complete waste. We won’t be wasting our money here anymore.
This location is operated by children. There's never enough ingredients left. Very little chicken was left, little rice, no guacamole. This was not at the end of the day. No cucumbers. 3 different occasions and same results. My third trip here. It's 1140 am and not enough options out to choose from. Store says 11am open.
