Sumo has been open for several years and we have eaten here multiple times. But this visit will be the last. There are not waitresses serving food. You must go back up front to place your order. There was trash stacked next to the drink machines and the overall place needs a good cleaning. Food is served on one common plate and they don't provide individual plates. All utensils are plastic and no knifes are offered. Overall the food was below average. Not great, not much flavor.
Ever since I moved to GA, I had been getting my sushi and hibachi food here. The place is great, service is wonderful, and food is always delicious and fresh. The staff work hard and fast to get everything finished at a reasonable time. I’ll always get my sushi from Sumos.
Point blank…the food was not good. The shrimp was over cooked in the bowl. It was really hard and dry. The bowl didn’t have any flavor at all. We just threw away the sushi. It was horrible and didn’t taste fresh. They were also stingy with the Spicy Mayo. They wouldn’t give us any because we didn’t have a quarter but wanted to give us like 5 nasty white sauces for a tiny bowl of rice. It made no sense.
I eat here at least once a week and the staff is always super friendly and helpful! They are very clean and prepare the food exactly perfect every single time!
Very good sushi and hibachi! I’ve been eating here for years. The food is affordable and great service.
Average food & services....If you dine in you get foam/plastic products/utensils and their pork fried rice seems like its lacking a bit.....
Horrible, 0 stars if I can. Foam plate for dine-in, 5 pieces of sushi for a roll, seaweed salad has a quarter of cucumber at the bottom, frying oil is very fishy, and not that fresh.20 bucks for all of these, I really regret it. What’s more, no service at all.
It's not quite as good as our favorite but, they're open on Sundays (our favorite is NOT)! The food was all fresh & tasted good. I'd definitely eat here again.
Worst Japanese restaurant ever! You can eat there but no servers, you have to order at the front door. Sushi came in a styrofoam box, packets of soy sauce that get all over you when you try to open them. Hibachi steak was bland. All this with the receipt asking for a tip. You’ll get better Japanese food from CVS!
Weird set up. Order when you walk in the door. All your food including soup are served in styrofoam. Food was bland and we did not have a good experience overall. It’s expensive and not worth it.
