My wife and I, had our daughters wedding reception here at the Southern Table. I cannot express enough how wonderful this experience was. The food was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was elegant. Jay and his staff could not be more accommodating. Our daughter and our new son-in-law, along with family and friends all had a great day. Thank y'all for making our day special..!!

I mean.... Todd Wellman and his team of cooks deserve all the awards for how amazing the food was. I was part of a party of 7 and we all loved everything we ordered and between us we ordered about everything on the menu.

This was our third trip into Brunswick. Each visit we find a little bit better, different place. This has been the best so far! A phenomenal vibe within this restaurant! This was upscale & cool, but not pretentious. Excellent drinks! I had the Silver Bluff IPA and my wife had Jameson and Ginger (they had a full bar). For dinner, we had a peach salad, chicken pot pie, and I had the shrimp and grits which was excellent! The way they prepared the grits was the best I’ve had in a long time. The service in the restaurant (thank you Tammy‘s daughter!) was just the best. As guests/visitors to Brunswick, they made us feel very inclusive the local crowd. Definitely recommend this to anyone traveling into Brunswick for dinner.
The food and service were quite good. I'm not sure why the restaurant would have a singer on a Wednesday night. Usually, live music is closer to the weekend. The music was good but it was way too loud. People were going outside to talk to each other because they couldn't hear themselves over the singer.I revised the rating to a 4 star.Now I was chastised by the owner because of my review. We are not from around here. We would not know there was live music on Wednesdays. When you can't hear your server or the person across the table from you, the music is too loud. And I worked in the restaurant/bar industry for a long time. Usually, an owner would consider what a customer had to say. Apparently, not at this place.
How have I been to The Table so many times and never left a review? 10 Stars! Amazing staff, amazing owners, amazing drinks, amazing food!! Jay, Todd and Stacy are my favorite people. Come in and sit for a spell, let these beautiful souls welcome you to the best place downtown. Also, tell that sexy bartender named Jay that Tabitha sent you. ????
