It took a average of 7 minutes to make an order and after 30 minutes they had no red beans and rice which was the only thing I wanted. I saw at least 5 cars leave the line because it was taking to long to order and on experience I wish I had done the same. I very much doubt I will be going back.
Menu board said they have pepsi products, but they serve coke products. Biscuits was hard and rubbery. Manager had an attitude. Mac and cheese was good and chicken was hot, but we waited a few minutes for that.
Waited in line for 45 min for food. Did not get half the order. The door was locked to the front so they made me go around the drive thru to voice my missing food. I was 5th in line and was told that I would have to wait because there was people in front of me. Once again it was a 30 minute wait tjis time because there was not any food prepared. Rude and poor customer service.
I just stopped at a Popeye’s for the first time and the nicest interaction with the gentleman at the window. He very kindly gave me several sauces to try when I didn’t know how to answer - which is a very small thing but for a miserable wretch like myself that made my day. Anyway, the chicken was fantastic I wish there were locations near me so this location is five stars to me and for what it’s worth my favorite sauce was the blackened ranch.
Perception Review. Never been to a Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen.This being said, three stars for clarity improvements that are needed, especially in their drive thru operations.So, I tried to enter the dining room and was politely told: "Drive thru only."COVID 19 has changed things I get it. But what I don't get is a sign (s) that don't clarify what is offered, the side, as an example. I'm in a long waiting line so I had to guess. Mashed potatoes.It didn't get any better. I'm greeted by a loud speaker voice, " Would you like to try the value flounder meal today?" I tried to ask what this was (sign didn't say) but I never got the chance."Go ahead with your order."In terms of the food quality, this is clearly fast food. It was efficient, staff was polite they even asked what type of sauce for the mass margined ? chicken.Later, I looked at the receipt next to the side of potatoes. Faded.
Went and got some chicken yeah after a rough afternoon, the man behind the counter was so happy and positive, the other crew members were also great.. got fresh hot chicken and a smile sometimes that all you need !!
Order was to have 3 chicken sandwiches. After traveling to destination we took the food out and found we only had 2. I tried to call the phone number on the receipt and it went directly to a voice mail that had never been set up.
Attitude ! If you want bad attitude this is the place to come !! Asked at first to wait a second (which turned into nearly 3 minutes) Not asked if we wanted spicy, crunchy or any other option. I asked for jalapeño peppers on the order, and guess what I got… More attitude ! The chicken was good though.Note, about a week later, changing from one star to two stars because the chicken was good and my wife said it’s not fair to give it only one star if they were working, trying and serving good chicken.
50 minutes in drive thru because hubby was determined to get chicken. Dozens of people pulled away because the line was not moving. 5 min from the time we reached the speaker before we were waited on.10 min before anyone acknowledged us at the window. I went inside to inquire about our order and use the restroom and a woman with a headset stated there were no orders. I went back to my car and we received our order along with a snarky “ma’am you have a great day” from the man who took our order and handled the transaction. The same manager was on he phone in the back when I went inside to use the restroom. I don’t think he appreciated me asking about our order or mentioning it had been 50 min. He offered no apologies for the wait or any explanation as to why we waited so long.
Drive thru had long wait time with only one car ahead of us. They were out of many items which can be understandable due to supply shortages however they got our order wrong after asking for replacement and did not ask for spicy or original and gave us spicy. A drink was incorrect as well. Did not give any sauces we requested. Drive thru staff definitely needs improvement on attention to their customers.
