I currently live in Birmingham, AL and I'm visiting Augusta for work. Birmingham is well known for having great wing restaurants all over the place. WSS1 can go toe to toe with any of them. Great Food and customer service.
I tried this place yesterday, it was recommended by my hair stylist. The food is awesome. My daughter is very, very, very picky. It can be difficult convincing her to try new restaurants/foods. To say the least she enjoyed it.We had the lemon pepper wing combo, sweet and sour wing combo, and a turkey sub, lemonade to drink. This food is beyond delicious. The turkey sub reminded me of a homemade sandwich my grandma makes. Don’t hesitate, I highly recommend this place.
Was in town for a wedding.... ate here Friday night (hot wings and tenders) and also Saturday for lunch (lemon pepper wings and burgers). Ordered through Grub Hub, everything was great and delivered in a timely matter. Glad I came across them.
Nothing else compares. You like your mommas cooking, well your momma comes here for tips. Let's just say my girlfriend won't go anywhere else. It's worth the time which is 20 mins for about 30 wings so I guess normal. The lemonade is amazinggggg! So is the sweet tea. Honestly, I can eat this every night but I'd be broke. They aren't even high in price it old just be me there all day. It is an interesting location but just get in and get out. Best cook ever! That man knows what he is doing.
Yooooo!!! My son was ranting and raving about WSS1. He let me try one of his wings yesterday and it made my choice for dinner today, so much easier!! Such a delicious experience!! I ordered wings from WSS1 today, (Wings, Subs and Salads). When I tell you I got that you have to try this place out, its no joke. The prices are great and the food taste amazing.
BLACK OWNED lemme say it louder for the ppl in the back BLACK OWNED‼️ Customer service was A1 super friendly and informative. The wingssssssssss OMG they're actually wangs not baby chic wings‼️I tried the plain, blazin, and sweet bourbon mixed with hot. Flavor and seasoning on point. I tasted a wing on site and I literally did the good food dance in the restaurant and all the way home. It's the sauce for me. Definitely recommend and I will be back.
My husband and I tried this place for the first time today. AMAZING! We did the 20 piece with half sweet bourbon and half sweet and spicy mixed with honey! Definitely worth a try, we agreed we found our new food spot. Can’t wait to try something else! Would’ve posted pictures but it didn’t even last that long ?.
I really, really wanted to like this place. I may even go back to try the wings. However, the Italian sub was horrible! The meat was literally ice cold and tasted like leftover ham from Christmas dinner. The sub was super dry even though I asked for extra Mayo. The bread seemed old and crumbly. I gave it 2 stars because the customer service was decent.
Long line but worth the wait. You can also order through the grub hub to beat the line. Staff is friendly, and the food is prepared fresh.
