How do you beat this greasy spoon staple. The food is consistent no matter what state your in. Some of the best breakfast anywhere . Suasage, grits, hashbrowns, toast and waffle for $9 bucks!
I've ordered eggs over medium there at least 5 times and even explained that I didn't want my eggs runny. Each time I was given eggs over easy, barely cooked. Then I was told, " Oh! you wanted your eggs over medium- hard". There is no such thing. People in Augusta make up words and phrases that make others appear to be in the wrong. Three times I was given a dirty coffee mug, the last time I didn't know that the mug was dirty until I drank over half of the cup and threw the mug on the table, disgusted that I was drinking the caked on food of others. I complained and a waitress tried to start a fight as if the dirty mug was my fault. Talking to people there is nothing more than talking to living, heavely breathing idiots. Why did I go back? The hotel is across the street and I have been to every restaurant in a half mile radius and nothing but burnt food, cold food, mispriced food and a fat waitressat the oyster joint eating from my plate before they brought it to me. And like Augusta, this Waffle House is somewhere where I will never go again.
Probably the best WH I have ever been to. Fully staffed with friendly workers. Food was served fast, hot and delicious. Manager came by to check on us halfway through.
