This place did not dissapoint one bit! We sat at the bar where the drinks are hand made and looked very fancy. The desserts tasted luxuriously!!! The best desserts I've had in a long time! I spoke to the owner and he told me the story of Vance's and it's a beautiful one. The owner is also a veteran and i loved that he loves his country. His wife is the chef and bakes along 3 other bakers. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful and perfect for an evening out. They do check your ID before coming in, so be ready for that. They will be having several events there (like musical bingo and D&D night) and I'll be sure to come back. I wasn't expecting to fall in love with this place, but I did. Also the men who worked there were dressed like real gentleman (tie and vest) and it added an extra amount of coolness to the atmosphere. They do have food too which looked delicious. I can't wait to go back!
This place was worth the wait and waiting I did! Wednesday night is Trivia night and this was a packed joint, but it is worth the time investment. Not only was the staff exceptional and accommodating, everyone was friendly and generous.The desserts are perfect nightcap after dinner downtown. All good Angel Food was divine, along with the Ric Rac Bread Pudding.Fanstastic, trendy and delectable. Must visit at least once!
This was my husband's and I first time going to this place and will definitely be our last. We ordered 2 drinks and the infused chocolate chip cookies. The disappointment was the cookies was cold but they were good. I received my drink and instantly was unimpressed. I told the waitress and she took my drink from our table and my husband kept his. The drink was incredibly too strong and flavorless.The waitress then proceeded to give us the check which still had the drink that she took away. I said something about it so the manager came over and said "If you look on the menu it says all drinks are final so I can't take it off and I can give you another one" Why would I get another drink when the first 2 was terrible. Remind you the waitress said out of her own mouth she's never heard of that policy. We will not be going back to that bar again.
Vance's is a cute spot to get together in an intimate setting with friends and family, however the dessert was average. Very cute plating but not a lot of flavor. The chocolate chip cookies were the best thing I tasted but were cold, which I'm not a fan of. Overall I was not impressed nor do I have an urge to return.
Boozy bakery? Yes please!!!! The crazy part is how amazing everything tastes!!So delicious!!! Great setting great staff who are really geared up about their products! Our server recommended so many things and we wanted to try everyone of them with her excitement of describing the desserts. The cobbler omg the cobbler is the best tasting dessert I've had in forever!! Cotton bites were omg must try. We got two desserts to go that I can't wait to try! The staff all have great attitudes and a catching enthusiasm for their products!
This place is an awesome find! The owner greeted us at the door and told us all the specials and featured cocktails, desserts were mindblowing, staff was awesome and the drinks were very well balanced and delicious! Highly recommend checking this place out!
They do check ID at the door. Desserts are infused but we didn't really taste alcohol. They're not super sweet either. The drinks are not for the faint of heart. Strong and delicious. The place is beautiful but on the loud side because the room echos. Our water was kept topped off. Excellent, friendly, attentive prompt service.
I’ve been going here ever since they opened last year! AMAZING!I absolutely love everything about this place! It’s such a great experience! The ambiance is PERFECT. The desserts, DIVINE. And the drinks are SUPERB!The owners are such great people! You can tell that they put their all and their hearts into this establishment!Forever a customer!❤️?
This hidden gem should definitely be more known about! The food was amazing, and the drinks are strong! perfect for nightcaps and desserts, but also a perfect hangout spot with some friends! I will say it is definitely on the more expense side though.
Vance's Bakery bar has officially converted me into a sweets and booze fanatic!! This may now be one of of my favorite spots downtown and I am not even a dessert person. Not only did I love the vibe of Vance's bakery but the dessert and cocktails were amazing. Since I l don't generally have a sweet tooth, it takes a lot for me to say I really enjoy desserts and let me tell you these were delicious! I really enjoyed the 2nd City chocolate chip cookie and the berry fission cocktail the most! The staff was excellent and the owner was very sweet and personable. We also shared a Charcuterie and cheese board which were also good but their highlights are definitely the desserts and the ambiance. I Will definitely be back!
