chicken n waffles were delicious, pancakes and sausage were good. French toast was burnt on the bottom and doughy on the inside, strawberry and orange drink wasn't good, fruit smoothie wasn't good, blue tropical drink was good. customer service was great, location was great
Hubby finally made reservations at Toaste for our anniversary brunch and our experience was amazing!!!! Our reservation was at 10am and much to my surprise, EVERYTHING on the menu was available. Being that my hubby is a breakfast man, naturally he ordered French toast with sausage. However, I'm a thick girl so my body automatically craves anything that feeds my soul and curves. With that said, it was the oxtails and rice for me!!!!Lawd have mercy is all I can say! Chile, I ain't ever had a plate of oxtails and rice at 10am that came out hot and fresh with smoke softly simmering across the top of such tender and delicately prepared juicy meat and rice that was cooked to perfection! Not to mention the potatoes and carrots so preciously married into this outstanding dish! I said all that to say, Yep, we will definitely be back that's for sure! And next time, my hubby will be ordering oxtails lol Thanks Toaste!!!
During a recent trip to Augusta/Beech Island to visit family, we stopped in at Toaste for an after church brunch. They did not disappoint! The menu offered great selections. Such great selections that I couldn't quite decide - so, I had the sampler: a great way to try many of their popular items. My favorite was the shrimp and grits. All of the food was flavorful, portion sizes were nice, and the staff was super attentive and polite. Highly recommend!
This was a very nice find in downtown. The food was amazing and the fruit juice drinks were absolutely delicious. I would definitely be coming back to try their new menu. It changes with the seasons which is something I love because change is nice. The shrimp Alfredo has an amazing sauce that is not your typical Alfredo sauce.
We stopped by this place on whim and were more than pleased with the results. The frozen mocktails and drinks hit the right note - sweet and refreshing. We decided to go for the brunch sampler so we could try pretty much the whole brunch menu at once. Though they were sampling portions, they were still generous. Overall everything was super tasty. My favorite was the Salmon Croquettes and surprisingly the shrimp and grits (Until today I have never had grits I could stand).Definitely give this a shot for brunch. The food was great and the staff were friendly. While it does take a while for food, it was worth the wait.
Celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday at Toaste was the perfect choice! From start to finish Dominick & his team were professional, courteous, warm and friendly. They anticipated our needs & delivered!!! All we had to do was show up. Now on to the food…. Oh my goodness!!!!! Our menu consisted of baked chicken, salmon, green beans, rice, gourmet Mac & cheese (you just have to try it), salad & dinner roles. Fresh squeezed lemonade and tea that tastes like your granny made it were perfect beverages for our guests. And the cake!!!!! Good lawd!!! I wanted a ? on the cake & yall…. Not only was the cake topper a ? but it was edible!!!!! If you are looking for a venue that has exceptional customer service, scrumptiously delicious food & fabulous music, I encourage you to lift those flutes @ Toaste!
Lovely personable servers. Cute place. Strawberry Lemonade was good. I had Chicken/Waffles. Chicken was very dry and over-salted, Waffle was limp and cold. They did have a very large party of 40+ people that arrived after we did :so it could have been they were trying to get ready for this party in advance. (they take reservations) It was chaotic for the servers. $25.00 for chicken/waffles is a lot of money for what you get. I will not be back. I wish them the best. Three stars is for the service and smiles from servers we received.
Amazing service! We had a very short window of time and Toaste came through in every way possible! Great food, great experience. We are incredibly grateful for everything they did to make our girl’s graduation brunch a success.
I had my birthday brunch there. The food & service was great! There was also an outstanding live performance at the time of my visit! Shout out to Shawna Harris!!! Always enjoy hearing her sing!
