I normally don’t get a reason to do good reviews but this location was a 10/10 . And I’m not over exaggerating. Every worker was up moving and doing something to help get thru the rush they were in. I had to wait a few minutes to get a server but didn’t mind cause I could see how swamped they were. But the food was cooked perfectly and the veggies tasted like they were picked from a garden they had out back. Lol. I wish I was a millionaire. I would have given every one working that shift a $500 tip. I know how stressful and agitating work fast food can be. I worked in that Industry from age 14 to 19. And they handled it with a smile and common courtesy that is extremely rare these days. ??????
If I could rate a 0 I would. This place is horrible. Their drive thru window is broke but they won’t tell you while you’re waiting for your order to be taken. When you drive up (after waiting) they all just look and laugh and point at the window and act goofy. When you try to call they don’t answer. They all seem very immature and ignorant. The workers all smell terrible so don’t even bother to actually eat inside of the restaurant.They also add their own pricing for their food (just read the sign at the menu - prices may be changed) and half the time they don’t take anything but cash. Place is very sketchy.
We use to love this place. Prices up, staff low. Bless her heart, that lady was doing everything by herself and I really appreciate that. However they no longer carry chicken tenders (my kid favorite). They no longer have crackers with chili. Last time I went the chili was so bad that my dog wouldn't even eat it. I still have hopes for this place and hope the rough patch doesn't last forever.
A bit of disappointment to be honest. The "steakburgers" are so thin they are all well done. There was visible dust and just a lack of upkeep everywhere. Shoe string fries that are cold 60 seconds after you get em. I see why the place is usually empty.
Horrible service, very very slow and the food was awful. This was our second time since Covid and we had the same experience. We will not be going back!
Waited almost 30 minutes in the drive through to only get food poisoning!!! Never again steak and shake. I ordered the garlic burger and my wife ordered the butter burger and we both fell I’ll along with three out of four of our children!
Whoever was working lunch on 5/12 did an awesome job. This is what a burger should look like, great job kitchen!!!!
I don't think you can beat this for quality and value. A tasty 2 patty cheeseburger with fries and a drink for $6.58. If you have a coupon it's even cheaper! The host/hostesses and wait staff are great at this location.
Truly the worst restaurant in Augusta. Do not waste your time eating OR working here. The franchise owners ( ANDY & PRESTON ) steal from their employees. The restaurant is dirty and theres no enforcement of employees washing hands, wearing masks, or hairnets. They do not pay their employees a living wage, they do not give raises. All they care about is their money which is why they serve customers milkshakes with SOUR TASTING shake base and give customers burgers with meat that was grey when it was cooked. The restaurant is not cleaned unless by the employees. There is no deep cleaning, and the restrooms are cleaned once a week if that. The franchise owners (ANDY & PRESTON) will not even pay their EcoLab bill so the restaurant can operate at one hundred percent capacity. You could eat better at home.
Polite staff but they really need more help. Hopefully management can hire more staff. I was also disappointed to find out that they did not have any fry seasoning. They also fried the egg hard when I asked for my egg to run on my royals burger.
