My friends and I had a dissapointing meal here. I ordered a Thai peanut salad for nine bucks. The waiter said it was quite large... look at my pics and tell me thats large. The menu said it included cilantro and peanuts. It came with one single sprig of cilantro and 3 peanuts (I kid you not). To top it off, it included a huge stem of romaine lettuce. My friend ordered the veggie burrito sushi roll. The waiter specifically compared the size to a chipotle burrito... once again, look at the pics and tell me that's the size of chipotle smh. As a cherry on top we found two hairs in our food. The prices, portions, lies, hair and greasy floors force me to give 1 star. I would have spoken to the manager then, but my friends were embarrassed.
We had to wait a long time to be acknowledge and to be seated. The waitress did not get my order correct. The waitress was not totally attendant to me but was to my wife. Other waitress was not attendant to us at all.
The restaurant was packed for a wednesday night, service was slow but 30-40min wait time after being seated is pretty slow. The noodles were definitely soy sauced for sure with plenty of Hoison sauce too i would guess which made it waaay too salty. Thai food and basic asian dishes should be flavorful with basic ingredients. Sushi is low grade compared to other spots. Barely any meat in the dishes. Prep of the ingredients needs to be worked onMy recommendation is to focus on the sushi and create a sushi/sashimi/japanese focused menu environment OR condense the menu in a dozen so good dishes so the back can focus on a specific cuisine. Quality over quantity. The waiter was really friendly though so kudos to him!
When you walk in the atmosphere is dark and not a lot of patrons. Not really a oriental type of place to us. I was hungry for Korean (they were all closed because it is a Monday), so we settled upon this place after reading the reviews.Food was average at best. Appetizers was a sampler platter of steamed dumplings (came out cold, as in not hot), spring rolls (overcooked) and and fried Gyoza (also overcooked but this was delicious).I had the Teriyaki Udon with Shrimp, it had way to much sauce (like swimming in sauce) and the entire plate was overcooked. Noodles were soggy; the broccoli was flimsy (should be crunchy or al dente). My mom had the Miso which was the Best thing we ate.Our server was attentive and helpful. Informed us the cook walked out during his shift. Wasn't sure if it was before or during making our meals. There was only 3 tables in the place and a couple of people at the bar.Unfortunately I will not be back, when I am in town.
Now this place is what I've finally been looking for, food that is better than any of its kind. I eat sesame chicken all the time. And this is by far the best, along with the rice and service, it was so good I couldn't even wait to write this until I was done Eating because it exceeded any expectations I could have set. Definitely recommend 10 out of 10. Gabby was our waitress and she was just as amazing as the food. Thank you soy noodle house for restoring hope in amazing food and service
Food was good. Definitely recommend teriyaki chicken and soy sampler. Mongolia sandwich was good too will be going back. Waitress Haley was very polite and kept checking to make sure we didn't need anything else.
The food is amazing! I had a great time out with my friends and dinner was delicious! Our server/hostess/entertainer MIKE was awesome ?…. It was super busy and he still managed to bring our food out with no mistakes and give great suggestions. I will definitely be going back again!
My wife and I visited before a concert at the Bell Auditorium. She had the Thai peanut salad and a California roll and I had the Thai Red Curry. We both started with Miso soup. Everything we had was very good and the service was awesome.
It's a great place with great food! Has the nicest waitresses. Personal favorite is salmon sushi bowl w tempura asparagus ?
Great food and wonderful staff
