First time getting food from here. The building old and needs more lighting. The staff was dry upon entry. The food looked like it had just been sitting all day long. Once my brother and I started talking to the young lady with the gold tipped locs, she ended up smiling and vibing.. she was very helpful with the choices I was making. The manager (short dark skinned heavy set) was a big turn off. NO smile and very uninviting! She did speak when she saw us, but her energy for a restaurant was less than. The turkey wings were tough and flavorless and shouldve been prepared better. The corn was hard & flavorless like the turkey wings. The macaroni was very good as well as the dressing. The rest of my food was trash even after I added salt and pepper.. Its a very STRONG possibility that i wont be returning unless its to eat the mac and cheese. YALL NEED TO DO BETTER....the Mac & cheese and dressing got these 2 stars due to them.eeally being my ONLY option.....and yall may want to prepare food that's edible but all people. Every doesn't eat beef or pork, so why add it to all the vegetable sides.

Recently, three of my golfing partners and I ordered dinners there. It was close to closing time, but the owner prepared fresh chicken and pork chops for us. She was very friendly, the food was very flavorful, and the portions were large! She knows what she's doing! We're from Charlotte and the Triad areas. No doubt we'll be eating there on our next trip!
Best soul food ever. Great family environment. Portion size is wonder for the price, I won't go any other place in the entire CSRA for my hog maws!!!

My boyfriend and I are not from the area and we were both wanting soul food. We were looking for a place similar to “This is it” in Atlanta, and we think we found it. We had the green beans, fried pork chops and the Mac and cheese. The beans were so good and seasoned. The pork chops were so tender, seasoned and tasty too. We both enjoyed our food throughly. I hate that this restaurant is two hours away from us or we would be repeat customers. But any time we are back in Augusta we will definitely stop by sister soul food #2 to grab a plate to go.

Went to Wife Savers and the food is Delicious to the Deliciousness. Then we came to Sista sista and the food is Delicious to the Deliciousness. Just goes to show it’s possible to have more than one Delicious restaurant in town. Both have friendly staff and great prices. My mind was focused with n the delicious food and not on taking a picture, but here’s the empty container.
